Played it two days ago on Xbox. Found like 4 games with no hackers (out of the like 10 I joined). But hey, someone in hacked lobby unlocked all achievements for me 🤷🏼♂️

This is so depressing to see.... This was _my world..._ I put *countless hours* into this game. And I don't regret a single minute of it. The customization was the best it's ever been. The maps were dynamic and beautiful, both asthetically and mechanically. I felt like I was playing on the cutting edge!! And now look at what's become of it..... For me, this was the pinnacle of CoD. And unless it ever gets a remaster, that will never change.
I think it's unlikely they almost remastered all the BO2 maps in Cold War but still the game is beyond saving. I do hope in 2024 when Treyarch si back developing that they will do a remaster of it alongside a new COD. WITHOUT SBMM.

I remember this game in his prime switching from Halo 4 to this, It had 800,000 players online on Xbox 360, I think Ps3 had over a million. The nostalgia is real.

I played watch dogs a few years back to return to it with my m8 cause ik the game was dying and just wanted to see it off. Little did we know were in a game with 2 hackers. One of them decides to kill us just as were crusing by or coming over to see what they were up to so i kill him back. His m8 retalliates which is fine and i keep managig ti kill them. They then go to chase us down and at this point they are just being petty so i played their game and just kept killing them slowly over and over by running them over even when they have pvp turned off so they cant be shot. Theyve invited us to a party and blame us for starting something in the game we didnt even do so it got heated and the man seitched off my internet thru the xbox using his pc/laptop so when i come back the grown up tries belittling me and being petty so i didnt back down. After like an hr i finally come back again and ive had enough at this point cause ive said what ive had to say wanted to speak to my m8 to carry on playing and just ignore them as its getting nowhere. So they kick me out of the party and do it again. Ive come back yet again and told him to kill homself for being such a pathetic no life petty bastard who hides behind hacks cause hes scared to face up to ppl when hes in the wrong. Im booted off again and at that point ive just turned off my xbox accepting my terms that id probs not be able to play it again and having to get another. Turns out my m8 saved my ass and resolved the issue and they wanted me to apolgise in under the threat of completly taking over my xbox which seemed possible so annoyingly i had to even tho it wasnt my fault and to this day even reflecting back on it i still hope they do. The fact ppl have to stoop so low that they push ppl to the point of wanting to end their exsistance and put a knife to their throat just for a laugh is fucking pathetic. I don’t know about you but I have three out of the four DLC and I can’t find a single match in multiplayer. And I am on PS3 if that makes any difference.
@@ghostofdeath260 having DLC’s will only matchmake you with people with the exact same combo of DLC’s (the old way of matchmaking - I uninstalled my DLC’s and found matches really quickly and easily on xbox.

I mean there are alot of cheats that pretty fun! Some of the mods for waw zombies for example that added new gamemodes and objectives to zombies was really awesome when itwas a thing. But cheating like this (godmode aimbot )in such a game is just tragic.. what pleasure do they actually get?

And i used 3 methods in the same lobby. 1st to use light hacks and not make it too obvious or to ruin ppls game that much. 2nd was to up the anty and use them but in a beneficial way for the ppl playing the game and finally all out no care in the world ruin everyones game make them leave without kickig them ddos some ppl and see what response i got. And not suprised that in the same lobby as it progressed in different matches. I got told to kill myself which i was prepared to expect as i wanted to see not jist how many players would go against these ppl but also the ppl who would warm up to the hacker. Funny on the results but i hated even doing that in the 1st place. My conclusion came down to just attnetion and the fact that there are ppl out there who get off tryna take other ppls lives in any way possible. Thru torture torment abuse anything. Thats the stone cold hearted truth from the reality of the serious hackers anyway.
Yup...I remember coming back to COD WAW on PS3 and it being a lot like this. God mode, when I shot someone it damaged me, no clipping under the map and in rocks. Just garbage. The cheating always gets bad about 2 or 3 years after release.

what’s funny is we’ve had exact opposite experiences a couple days ago on each blops. On BO1 I couldn’t even find a match let alone one other player on multiplayer. On BO2 I was able to find a lot of hacker free matches. I would just like to find a match on black ops 1 :(

To the people saying they want remastered games like MW2 or Black Ops 2: you shouldn't want remastered games. Not because they were bad games, but because we collectively should demand new games with new content that are better. Why should we pay $70 of our hard earned money to re-experience something we have already played? We'll never recapture what the "old days" were like, it'll only be a reflection of what it was.
Disagree for sure. For example, Mass Effect Remastered, easily better than any game ive played in years. Nothing new will ever surpass it, had more fun in replaying those 3 games 2 times over a few months than any new games or new ips will ever do. Just because its a "re-experience" doesn't devalue it for people that want it.
Back when I played on the PS3, whenever there was a hacker on the enemy team, I would never leave. I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of making everyone leave. I got my ass handed to me, but I wasn't going to forfeit
fortunate, you should make these classic cod videos on the PS3 version of the games. Not saying the hacking seen is much better over there, but the vast majority of the lobbies I get into are just casuals trying to have fun

Honestly I know everyone wants MW2 multiplayer to be remastered (me included, it’s still my favorite) BUT if they remastered this game they could capitalize off it so much while giving the players something they want. We all know the the game developers only care about money these days, and with vanguard and warzone flopping and the entire activision situation I think remastering this game would be a smart move for them to kinda “bounce back”. It’s also the ten year anniversary this year. I’m sure they’d still ruin it somehow, but one can dream lol 🙃

There was a moment last week, where the boys and I had came back on and played some games on BO2. Barely any modders except for one we came across with AimBot, and another who didn’t even bother cheating. The state wasn’t too bad but also wasn’t too good. None of us were deranked because we even when we did play against a modder, he wasn’t that immature lmao.
Everyone acts surprised about this, my first game playing World at War people were flying and had infinite ammo and there was a cheat menu at the beginning, but it was fun compared to people hacking nowadays. And that’s how to game was only 1-2 years after the game came out.
Been playing on the PS3 for a week or two. 1/2 the games are hacked but usually its just aimbots and nothing else. Im in awe seeing how badly hacked it is in this video. Guys, please play this game so we can all enjoy more lobbies with less hackers!
Holy shit, how do they get away with it?! Why isn't it someone's job to just spectate games and ban the people that are cheating? This would be in both Microsoft and Activision's interest, and the collective interest of ALL online shooter players. A little late here, but we're actually playing black ops 2 a lot lately, and it's been not too bad. I've only ran across a couple of hackers, and a few that had them would lock the lobby down with the mod. It would turn into an invite only server. It's actually pretty easy you only need two people with mod menu, and you both host the lobby. The tool could be put to good use as well. Just like plutonium you can also advertise when your server would be live. Good way to keep a game alive.
The facts that this beautiful masterpiece got ripped apart to hell by hackers shows that this was the best cod ever made, it’s so good that people can’t help but try their hardest to ruin it for others. They probably missed the golden era and now are so angry they do this.

What I used to do; get those theater mods yourself and host the game. Aka, join a match. When you have the theater mods, you become the host so you can actually run the mods. This will significantly reduce the chance for other modders to join the game, as they're all also hosting. Host the game as the modder, dont use the mods, and bam. Mod free lobby for all to enjoy the nostalgia.
Devs could easily ban these guys or update the game and fix this shit but they don't want... they do nothing so people give up and play newer games... sad... one of the best cods of all time.... I had a lot of fun on ps3 in 2012/2013/2014/2015... good old times bro, at least we have plutonium which isn't full of hacks like this .-.

I find that if you play with dlc installed you don't find as many cheaters. Not to mention there's normally like 10 dlc lobbies at peak hours

Yup...I remember coming back to COD WAW on PS3 and it being a lot like this. God mode, when I shot someone it damaged me, no clipping under the map and in rocks. Just garbage. The cheating always gets bad about 2 or 3 years after release.
It's actually easier to spot enemies on this game than vanguard with its fancy graphics etc. I really miss this part of the game. Blops2 was brilliant

I've been playing MW2 and BO1 on PS3 with very little issues. Lobbies are populated, lots of fun.

I used to do that myself... if I suspect that there's someone else cheating, I just boot them from the game and not able to re-join the lobby.

Disagree for sure. For example, Mass Effect Remastered, easily better than any game ive played in years. Nothing new will ever surpass it, had more fun in replaying those 3 games 2 times over a few months than any new games or new ips will ever do. Just because its a "re-experience" doesn't devalue it for people that want it.

Honestly I know everyone wants MW2 multiplayer to be remastered (me included, it’s still my favorite) BUT if they remastered this game they could capitalize off it so much while giving the players something they want. We all know the the game developers only care about money these days, and with vanguard and warzone flopping and the entire activision situation I think remastering this game would be a smart move for them to kinda “bounce back”. It’s also the ten year anniversary this year. I’m sure they’d still ruin it somehow, but one can dream lol 🙃

I wish old games had anti cheats. I sold my ps4 because i hated the cold war and vanguard. I still play old cods and yet mw3,2 and cod 4 have zero hackers. Mw2 has a ground war fun hacker who bring old games bo2 is so hacked i cant even enjoy my old game:(
There was a moment last week, where the boys and I had came back on and played some games on BO2. Barely any modders except for one we came across with AimBot, and another who didn’t even bother cheating.
The state wasn’t too bad but also wasn’t too good. None of us were deranked because we even when we did play against a modder, he wasn’t that immature lmao.
If you dont like cheaters, then either leave, or annoy them on purpose. Dont help them win a game.
Everyone acts surprised about this, my first game playing World at War people were flying and had infinite ammo and there was a cheat menu at the beginning, but it was fun compared to people hacking nowadays. And that’s how to game was only 1-2 years after the game came out.

This would be in both Microsoft and Activision's interest, and the collective interest of ALL online shooter players. The GOAT multiplayer game
A little late here, but we're actually playing black ops 2 a lot lately, and it's been not too bad. I've only ran across a couple of hackers, and a few that had them would lock the lobby down with the mod. It would turn into an invite only server. It's actually pretty easy you only need two people with mod menu, and you both host the lobby. The tool could be put to good use as well. Just like plutonium you can also advertise when your server would be live. Good way to keep a game alive.
Give multiplayer a rest for a bit and do campaign walkthroughs. We still want to see footage of the games but not just watch dumpster fire lobbies

What I used to do; get those theater mods yourself and host the game. Aka, join a match.
When you have the theater mods, you become the host so you can actually run the mods. This will significantly reduce the chance for other modders to join the game, as they're all also hosting. Host the game as the modder, dont use the mods, and bam. Mod free lobby for all to enjoy the nostalgia.
