It was made and published by Namco under license from Nintendo. It wasn't made purely by Nintnedo so they can't just do what they want with the Arcade stuff, gotta be agreement stuff with Namco. And let's be honest, I doubt they'd ever do it since it's probably not worth the effort
You never know I mean pac man I still in smash I really hope these make it playable for me somehow. Luckily my arcade has the newest version but not all of these. Great tracks and characters
@@jimmy33musicNot just Pac-Man, but Kazuya too. Namco even assisted with the development of Smash altogether, so there’s definitely some merit to it
Funfact: The MK Arcarde have the Same SFX fron MK Double Dash.

That's because they're not true Mario Kart games, and even if they were ported, they lack the quality of games like Double Dash and DS.
im pretty sure someone ported the game, there's a playable ISO that I have on my modded Wii. the game is very limited.

@@larniieplayz6285 They're developed and published by Bandai Namco, and only licensed by Nintendo. The gameplay is also watered down in favor of spectacle.

Because Nintendo would have to make a agreement with Namco for it to happen
Namco does help Nintendo with Mario kart tour, so it’s not entirely impossible

I find it odd that MKAGP2 didn't have a Tamagotchi Cup even though a Tamagotchi was playable. I can easily imagine TamaTown and Tamagotchi School being courses. Ah well, at least the Waluigi Cup has Tamagotchi advertisements.
If you could pick any track from this series to put in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which one would you pick? For me, it would probably be the Stadium Arena/Waluigi Stadium tracks that you can see from 22:56 to 25:49. The robotic dinosaurs certainly help it stand out! Diamond City would be a second, just as long as they add more WarioWare references, like maybe having characters cheering from the sidelines. Maybe they could fuse the tracks together like they did for some of the Tour courses?
P.S. Is your name ‘Justin?’ I keep hearing it in the GP 2 tracks.
These are pretty cool
I don’t think I like the tracks compare to the ones on mainline Mario Kart games. They feel kinda flat, as most seem to be around the same width and have railings that constrict you to the track with no off-road segments or pitfalls.

Would it be possible to have a video on the defensive item as well? Thank you so much for making videos on Mario Kart arcade DX. I love the wacky items that the game has, even though most of them is quite similar. It’s so hard to find any substantial footages of the game, probably because it’s an arcade addition.
Yeah i'm working on covering all of them, but with Spongebob releasing in a few days I am gonna be occupied with recording that game for a while. Defensive items should be up before Rehydrated releases though. =)

@@giahypham4111 Emulator. The Arcade GP DX Machine near me barely has anything unlocked, as for GP and GP 2, I don't think these still exist in Europe, or at least not where I live. Might be wrong though, but I haven't seen them in over a decade.
aWiibo thank goodness. I thought you had to drag yourself to the arcade to do these videos. And yeah, these machines aren’t as popular outside of Japan. I’ve seen one or two here and there, but barely. Thanks again!
@@aWiibo The emulator for DX seemingly doesn't have any of the courses added in updates, such as ones from the Donkey Kong Cup and PAC-MAN Cup.

they def need to add these courses to super mario kart deluxe i love the gp rainbow road and the gp2 yoshi parks alot of these courses look so dope tho the second pacman course from gp 1 is also very dope, like why isn't this a thing why cant we even play any of these games aside arcades it is soo dope, also i like the assortment of items don't like the announcer tho, the dx courses look pretty good too either way i would love to see some of em in deluxe
These games have the most interesting course layouts and designs and it’s a shame they’re not on home console (yet)

Speaking of the Donkey Kong Cup and PAC-MAN Cup, is there any full screen gameplay of it's courses? I can't find them anywhere on RUclips in full screen.

If there was a BCP2, I feel like Nintendo would just throw these at the wall + some retros and sees what sticks. They'd basically be scraping the bottom of the barrel here

@@jellymcmichaels4240 I dunno, but that could of been doable, especially since Arcade GP DX had palette swaps for multiple characters as updates for the cabinet. I guess they didn’t want (or have) to put in the effort for something that wouldn’t really make that much of a difference. Would have been nice, though.
