The way the stock motorcycle is designed this is just the way it comes. All though it seems and looks funny at the moment, the way you are suggesting will make the one side intake look strange as well. Remember you can only see one side of the bike at a time. Thanks for the comment and interest.
I’m thinking of doing this to mine, does it increase performance much? After getting over the initial rush of first riding my boulevard I feel like the stock air boxes are making my bike asthmatic.
We used a tool that goes over the breather tube and carefully bent it. It can break so be careful as there are other copy cat versions that use a different material. Good luck!
This force air filter is no longer available by Low and Mean. You can try to find other aftermarket products on eBay or Amazon but be weary of fitment.
This was one of the best install instructions I've ever seen, thank you!!! Made my install a breeze and saved me $200!

Great video. Do you need to rejet the carb after installing this air filter? Thanks
Sure call us to get more oil or you can purchase the K&N oil from your local auto parts store. Same stuff! Thanks for your support!
Thank you. Well presented

Hi, do you have this kit in stock and how much?
I recently bought the pro series do you have to oil the filters
All you have to do is get the filter to have a consistent red color and you will be fine.
Thank you that was so good...
how did you bend the crank case breather, mine are straight and yes on one side it touches the engine, so it wont fit securely, thanks brian

What tool?
No special tool... use what you have to get the job done. This setup is no longer available so no worries about the specifics.
