Hi mate, how did you tap in to the 12V socket? Is it via some sort of a piggyback adaptor or did you expose the existing 12V socket wires and did a soldering job with the UHF wires?
I'd be interested in a review of the features of the UHF. Like scan options, picking up gov't PMR / GRN networks.
