I played the heck out of it on my PS2 in early 2010s and it was my first NASCAR game that got me into the sport.

Why? It’s not good either
This game tries to copy nr2003 due to the difficulty of how the car loses control with any contact, but nr2003 most use a steering wheel that makes it easier, while Nascar 08 uses a control that makes it more difficult
And then I took it personally 😂😂
So I played this game on the ps2 and this was my 2nd ever nascar game and I legit don’t remember it being this hard or difficult. Maybe it’s cause the ps2 version is different but watching you play this game is what it’s like for me to play nascar ignition 21 just pure pain

I remember that the engine is changing color because it’s getting damaged by hitting the rev limit at the end of the straightaway. It’s a stupid glitch/bad programming from this game.

As a follow up to Nascar '07 and the first Nascar game on 360/PS3, this is the most disappointing game in Nascar history. I'd rather play Nascar Heat.
