I bought one in 2017 and it's still going strong, nearly 8 years later. I've never re-waxed the canvas. Externally, they're very strong and durable. The weakness for me has proven to be the thinner internal pocket material, which may tear (presumably only under frequent heavy usage), and the strap buckles, which have stretched and come apart a few times (fixed with a few blows of a hammer). Also, the canvas attachment of the strap D-rings is gradually wearing away, so one day, perhaps in another 7 years, it will wear through, and the strap will come off. It seems likely to be repairable, though. I agree that brass strap hardware would be preferable. But I recommend NutSac products 100%.
@@Boababa-fn3mr Always love seeing long term users! I think people tend to stay away from waxed canvas because they believe they need to wax it seasonally but you definitely don't. I agree on the durability points. It's "near heirloom" for me but with TLC over the tears these should last a long time where as some generics fall apart after just a year or two. Really dig their company and looking to upgrade to the 15 soon :).
Thanks for this in-depth long use review, I appreciate you giving your thoughts on it after using it for a long time. It seems to be made pretty well. Thanks for sharing and Cheers!
I've carried the Satchel 13 for years (and the Satchel 11 for a couple of years before the 13) and I love it. It works with chinos and jeans. It works with a suit. They need to put the name back on the label. That IS why we bought a NutSac to begin with. Tell the truth.
6 months review great effort thanks you are making a difference most YT say they will make it and don t .....I appreciate that 🙏

Great review and as a maker I think that’s a great price for the attention to detail with their work.
Love to try the Jones¹³ with my Instrument🎼
@@WeFightTheDark it surely is, yes!👍
How durable does the Jones bag seem to the canvas one?

I'm all about the branding, I worked with a lot of uppity folks and nobody would hate Nutsac
