    Let me explain how J.Y.Park felt as he looked at Lima.
    At that time, J.Y.Park's second child was born. Maybe I overlapped with my own child. As Rima said, even though my father and mother are celebrities, I want to live my own life. j.y.park told Rima to be herself.

    Thank you for the reaction of Niji Pro. Many of the current niziu fans are rooting for each of them during this audition because they are attracted to their individual personalities. I'm also happy to see you moved to tears. And you are so cute and charming.I want to see the continuation soon.

    jyp는 이 방송이후로 체중관리에 관한 언급은 하지 않습니다.
    아마도 업계에서는 중요한문제이지만 사회적으로는 충돌을 빚을 문제의 소지가 있다고 생각했기 때문일것 같아요.
    그래서 니지오디션이후로 다른오디션에서는 체중관리가 안된 참가자는 말없이 예선에서 모두 제거하는 방향으로 가는것 같습니다.

    I think there are some things lost in translation. JYP like any other executive/professional will not waste their time criticizing you if they don't think you're worth it. Also, he'll give you the hard truth on what and how you can improve.

    • @StayMultiverse
      @StayMultiverse  11 месяцев назад +1

      I do understand! It’s important to give feedback and constructive criticism. That’s how these girls can learn and grow.
      But I also believe what you say and how you say it is equally important, especially considering their age. There is a way to deliver comments in a constructive way without tearing down someone’s self esteem.

    Tanigawa Hina's experience is similar to many long time Kpop trainees who weren't able to debut. TWICE Jihyo who trained for 10 years also kinda became like Hina, but fortunately she was able to find herself again.
    Miihi also used to study music before she became a JYP trainee. She was a student at a Music Academy in Japan (Tinkerbell Music School) ever since she was like 7 years old, they mainly focus on Musicals/Theater. I personally think that's why she was so good at expressing herself while singing her audition song.

    • @StayMultiverse
      @StayMultiverse  11 месяцев назад +1

      Oh wow, I didn’t realize Jihyo trained that long! It has to be hard being in the system that long.. I hope Hina also found herself again..
      Ahhh that makes sense! I can definitely see her having experience in musical theatre!

    It's definitely okay to disagree with JYP-- he's made plenty of controversial comments and opinions that he's gotten into trouble for (this weight one included), and probably has plenty of personal biases and underlying motives beyond what's on the surface as well (I would be very surprised if general marketability/beauty standards weren't sneakily a factor in his choice to highlight weight, for example). Regardless, it can be interesting insight into some of the attitudes in the k-pop industry, good and bad.

    • @StayMultiverse
      @StayMultiverse  11 месяцев назад +2

      I definitely know beauty standards are a thing that is taken into consideration, even if they don’t talk much about it.
      It’s a fine line between treating artist like they’re humans and running this as a business. And we’ve certainly seen those lines crossed..
      I agree, moments like these can give insight.

    I felt very uncomfortable when he pointed about Ririka's weight. She was only 16...she just need muscle training.
    My favorite contestant from this show is Rima by the way💓

    Miihi & Rima with those long intro speeches made quite an impact. They also had pretty faces that fans would adore, and good performance skills overall.
    🌎
    I'm also impressed by these young people who learn other languages so well, compared to me. 😅 I barely retained any of my high school Japanese & college Korean classes. Now I'm relearning Japanese, to where I now know more than in my high school days. Still a ways to go before I can actually have a smooth conversation for more than a whole minute in just Japanese. 😅

      @StayMultiverse  11 месяцев назад +1

      I can see why! They come across as mature and well spoken! And of course, they are very cute!
      Oh my gosh me too!!! I learned French in high school and hardly remember anything… most of it has been replaced by Korean now haha
      That’s awesome though!!! You’ve made good process!!
      I have a life goal to become a polyglot but it’s definitely not easy..

    일본어는 말할 때도 비음을 많이 사용합니다.
    탁음이 있어서 비강을 사용하지 않으면 일본어 발음을 정확히 하지 못 합니다.
    그리고 대화하는 톤도 1음 정도 높습니다.
    여성들의 경우 G에서 높으면 A 키로 말하기도 합니다.
    그 영향으로 일본어를 들으면 친절하다는 느낌을 받습니다.
    그레서 대부분의 참가자들이 콧소리를 많이 사용합니다.
    말하는 것 처럼 노래하라는 JYP의 주장을 적용하기 어려운 나라....
    Kendall이 처음에 가성과 진성의 차이를 구분하지 못했던 것도 말할 때 언제나 비강을 사용하기 때문인 것 같습니다.
    Kendall의 어머니 나라 언어, 베트남어가 일본어보다 더 높고 콧소리가 많기 때문에, 그 영향이었을 것이라 짐작했습니다.

      I’m sorry, I don’t know enough yet to properly respond in Korean!
      But that is a good point! Often, your speaking voice can be a different tone because of how your native language is. You can have habits that are okay if you’re speaking, but are bad habits if you’re singing. This happens a lot in Texas too. There are a lot of people in Texas who have to fix their English if they want to sing in a certain style. This also can be shown when you learn another langue and your voice chances. Some people speak deeper in English than they do their native language.
      So it is very true that what language you speak can influence your tone.

    You've now been introduced to the last two girls who were highlighted on the NHK news program Sukkiri. It's kind of a variety news segment that highlights upcoming entertainers and such. For the first couple of weeks they highlighted the progress of Nina, Miihi, and Rima and gave little previews of the upcoming episodes on Hulu.

    So how many girls made it to the Tokyo boot camp? Let's just say it's more than the 11 that made it to A2K's LA Boot camp.
    You'll see the fate of the other JYP trainee, Mako, in the next episode.
    And oh, majority of this show' contestants will eventually show up in all sorts of places - social media, youtube etc. Just wanna point out that this girl Rima has an awesome english accent.
    Been a fan of the project since 2020, so I'm proud to say I've been with them from the beginning. Now it's awesome I get to relive the experience watching you react to them. Looking forward to the next upload. 🙂

      Aw that’s so cool!! It feels special getting to be there from the beginning of a group!
      I love getting the chance to see something like this, learning about them and their start.
      Thank you so much for going through it again with me! ❤️
