When you play shooters with Mike be warned. You will get shot in the back, pushed in to harmful liquids and he will also steal the story items before you nose (with a masterfull dive from above).

Pro tip: try watching this video at half speed. The gameplay is so fast that it actually looks perfectly normal at half speed, but Mike and Andy sound... happily medicated. Call me childish but it had me cracking up nonstop. lol

Ive played GLQuake for a while but this new remaster is super cool. Like many I prefer the Quake1 aesthetic. Plus they added animation interpolation! 144hz looks better than ever!! Yeaaaaa

That's why I never really complain about playing games, especially console games, at 30fps. I'm perfectly fine with that and I don't honestly notice a massive jump with 60fps. I'm used to playing older games with far worse graphics, so even when newer games have 30fps or something, I'm not complaining about that as long as the game runs like it should and isn't crashing a ton or filled with bugs.

What is the state of internet infrastructure in Britain if two players connecting to each other in the same city have a ping over 50?? My ping playing two cities over across a border and a body of water averages out to 12. You all deserve better!
Been playing this lately but after setting it to full screen mode it now instantly crashes on launch. I tried forcing windowed mode via the console commands in the config, but alas, nope. While it lasted it sure was some great nostalgic fun, though.
I just had a look, and the original Quake released closer to the initial release of Pong than it did to today. I don't know when it happened but I feel old all of a sudden...

Poke around long enough and you can find the sounds he made for Doom 3 before contracts fell through. Much better than what shipped with the game.
