Hey everyone, just wanted to again say thank you for watching me all this time. I was tempted to hold off on posting now this since I just uploaded, but you guys deserve the best and I’m sorry I haven’t always been able to provide the most frequent upload rate. Also watch EMH if you haven’t
I love how his voice sounds very mature in this show. It's a deep voice that can make that awespme battle yell, but at the same time you can tell it's also old and wizened. You could tell he had so much compassion too.
Let me add, that I would have placed Thor holding the weight of Manhattan as he places it safely back into position after battling Graviton as number one, but the "Hear me, Galactus ..." line is that top prize!
EMH had such a brilliant portrayal of Thor. Such a shame the show ended before we could've had a continuation of Surtur, Amora, Loki, and, well, every other arc cut short.
As much as I complained when EMH had nerfed Thor, this video reminds me of why this is most likely the best representation of Thor when the character is written properly.
They didn't nerf him. This was his best portrayal in media aside from comics. It's not nerfing to make him consistent with based around average showings.
@@johnmeehan7884Totally agree. For the show to work he has to find himself in peril from time to time - there wouldn’t be much entertainment value in him effortlessly winning all the time. The writers recurrently used him as the Avengers’ heaviest hitter without detracting from the plot. There are indications that he’s in a class of his own all over the place - he beats Red Hulk 1 vs 1 when Hulk needed backup to handle him, he defeats the entire Kree army alone and wrecks the Supreme Intelligence, and he manages to overcome Galactus with nothing but sheer might. If anything they amped Thor in season 2; after he returned to rescue the team from the Skrull he whooped pretty much every foe he encountered thereafter.
We definitely shared number 1. Cap's setup just hit the spot. As far as Thor dealing with Kang's city destroying blast. An eloquent way to remove Thor from the action without the weak "He's dealing with a mission on Saturn" Justice League would pull. Thor got a big hero moment and then Cap and Iron Man got to have theirs against Kang. Now if we only get a third season on Disney+ much like they are doing with X-Men 97, I can die a happy man.
With their recent track record, I wouldn't trust Disney to do justice in a continuation of the show. Maybe if they gave more control to Chris Yost, but honestly I'd prefer a comic book continuation. Yost's tie in comics feel lifted right from the cartoon.
We got Clone Wars, Young Justice, and X-Men 97, I’d like to think a third season of EMH is possible. Also yeah the Kang moment was absolutely there to get Thor out of the way for higher stakes, but as you said, it’s so well done. EMH did a very good job of getting Thor out of the way without just having him be super weak (a problem the Justice League writers admired having with Superman with him always being hit through walls). They never forget who Thor is
Quite the curveball, having a top-ten Thor feat-list, but from the cartoon! I'll admit I only watched maybe the first season of this show because I felt the art was a bit too simplistic for the subject matter, but I gotta say: seeing The Wrecking Crew (my favorite super-baddies!), Absorbing Man and Spider-Man featured in the episodes is making me regret it! I never realized that the writing was giving all the characters their due respect. Glad you're dropping more Thor content!
Great list dude! I loved this show and was so disappointed when they cut it short so they could make Avengers Assemble, they where just starting to build up to what I assume was going to be Ragnarok. So many great Thor moments in this show but for me the best ever Thor moment on screen was that last episode with Galactus!! still gives me goosebumps when spidey asks Cap why he isn't freaking out and he says he can hear thunder
One of my favourite moments between Thor and Ultron was during their rematch. The way Ultron said: "Error: Contradicting data. The entity known as Thor was eliminated. Solution: Resolve contradiction".
Agree with you that the Kang episode was a great addition to the list. I thought IronMan’s comment alluded to just how much Thor holds back when dealing with mortals - even during his battles with the Avengers. Great list!
I very nearly did and only barely kept it out because it technically is in a team moment rather than a straight Thor moment, but Thor basically makes it his moment and I nearly put it in anyway
I know the thor moments I will do tell you what now what next he did have done Kane kill thor of the Live Action I am really so sorry Hey everyone, just wanted to again say thank you for watching me all this time. Sneak Peak Thor's big show. Love it! Thank you for this list. EMH is the best Avenegrs content and does an amazing job with Thor. Just like you. This show is the reason why I got into Thor comics as he did done this week.
Honestly, Aaron’s earlier work wasn’t that bad. The God Butcher arc is something I would count among some of the greatest Thor stories ever written. It really delves into themes of consequence, bravery, sacrifice, and redemption. It was a great story. The problem was that Aaron went too big too early. He lost momentum after that, so much so that the only way to reignite interest was through controversy, hence Foster Thor.
C'mon, you didn't put the scene where Thor is holding up the entire borough of Manhattan in the Graviton fight! Showed Thor's strength was on par with the Hulk.

I love how this show shows how Thor is a literal God and gets shit done. I compare this the Thor from avengers assemble who is severely nerfed and I struggle to understand why they did rhat
It's a myth that Thor is science challenged, it was not uncommon for him to use the knowledge from being Dr Don Blake and then architect Eric Masterson
Thor is awesome, but i preffer Sentry so much more. I love Sentry, he's Naruto, Superman and Goku in one body. I just hope Thundebolts doesn't waste him.
Excellent video. But i must say that, beside this very HIGH showings, the show gave us LOW showings as well. For example: the show's version of the Enchantress seems to win over him every time. And this Thor seems pretty weaker compared with Hulk (when they fight, i mean). And it's not strange, considered it is written by Christopher Yost. A guy who said he loves Thor to the core, but has written that monstrosity of "Hulk vs Thor". I'm sure you know what i mean. I just don't get it XD
Hulk vs Thor sucked. And yeah it is weird that Hulk always seemed to have an edge over Thor when they fought, but that Thor overall seemed more powerful whenever they weren’t fighting each other. There’s also the Vision being way stronger than Thor in their first fight, but Thor seeming much stronger in every other encounter. This Thor does have some low showings, but overall EMH still does it better than the rest in my opinion
This show was amazing! Its a shame Disney as usual when getting a good product , to shit on it, destroy it and give such a terrible replacement instead
I love Avengers EMH because it explored Thor and Asgard. He was so cool in this show!
YES, THE RESPECT THIS SHOW GAVE THOR, I LOVE IT

No, you're breathtaking
@ThorTalk -- So glad you did this. Excellent
Listen it's quality over quantity, your content is amazing
It’s nice to see a channel that gives Thor the respect he deserves and often doesn’t receive anywhere else. Keep it up.
I say (like the other commenter) it's quality over quantity--keep up the fantastic work!!!!
The skrull battle was my favorite Thor entrance of this show right after he took out the whole kree army
I love how his voice sounds very mature in this show. It's a deep voice that can make that awespme battle yell, but at the same time you can tell it's also old and wizened. You could tell he had so much compassion too.
Rick Wasserman is the best
Let me add, that I would have placed Thor holding the weight of Manhattan as he places it safely back into position after battling Graviton as number one, but the "Hear me, Galactus ..." line is that top prize!
The Graviton vs Thor fight nearly made the list and I’d put it in my top 15
EMH had such a brilliant portrayal of Thor. Such a shame the show ended before we could've had a continuation of Surtur, Amora, Loki, and, well, every other arc cut short.

@@ThorTalk Yeah, Thor, particularly in season 2 was a sight to behold. Now lets hope we get that season 3 and Surtr gets his comeuppance.
Not everyone shirks responsibility like you.
They should remake this show with updated animation. Thor in that was the real hero of Heroes

Thor deflecting the blast back to Kang’s ship is one of my favorite moments from this show, period.
Man, this has me hyped. Excellent picks
Thank you, there many to choose from
Peak Thor. Love it!
Thank you for this list. EMH is the best Avenegrs content and makes an amazing job with Thor. Just like you.
You’re too kind, but EMH is indeed amazing and did amazing with Thor
Honorable mention to his lightning blast that k.o.’s graviton!
The first episode when thor braces the entire freaking manhattan island from crashing into the water!
The whole Comic Book Red Hulk introduction was absurd. He gave The Watcher a Black eye. lol
Agree with you that the Kang episode was a great addition to the list. I thought IronMan’s comment alluded to just how much Thor holds back when dealing with mortals - even during his battles with the Avengers. Great list!
I like the fact that at all times Thor is portrayed as a GOD. Yes, he is an Avenger, but his heritage and power always surround him.
Wasserman is just SO DAMN GOOD AS THOR I can’t deal with it!
You could do a top ten moments for every character in EMH it was such a great show!
Great list! I would have found a way to sneak the Godblast against Graviton in there.

That cry of For Midgard when he’s stopping Kangs weapon always gives me chills
Literally my favorite version of marvels thor
Mine too
This is really minor but I like how he physically towers all other Avengers by at least a foot in the show.
Much respect to this cartoon version of Thor. He was depicted heroically here. Take that,Jason Aaron.

A video assessing how powerful this Thor is and power scaling would be cool
Thor vs graviton in first episode that also best moment in this show ❤️🔥
9:20 the moment i became a fan of Thor
From day one,THOR IS BADASS 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
This show is the reason why I got into Thor comics.

Would love that

Thor is a god. He is supposed to basically be invincible when the other human avengers are subdued. He is basically the superhero's superhero.
Cap> yeah we're good. Thor's coming
WHOA!
demasiado bueno ese show para las manos avariciosas y cochinas de Disney
Disney cancelled it just so they could replace it with Avengers Assemble so it would be more similar to the movies. A big mistake in my opinion
5 should be 1 or 2
best Thor fight: Thor vs. Gravitation
Great fight, I nearly put it on the list, but it’s still top 15 for me
