How was the first one an 11.9? That’s almost three full points off in deduction when it was actually pretty clean in the air. Without the fall, this vault still would’ve only gotten an 8.3 E score…
A few other things- Joscelyn should’ve gotten at least a 9.0 E score based on how high a few other vaults were scored. This got an 8.55 somehow which is obnoxious. She’s been grossly underscored the entire meet on every event

So nice to see so many americans throwing doubles since the soviets were doing them at the 92 Olympics and not getting the value for them. Good job hahaha
I have to say this looks like the weakest vault collection overall across the last 3-4 quads from US and that's kinda bad cuz vault is a good event for US so they really need to capitalise here

Okay, but here's the thing. It is still so early in this quad. Many of our gymnasts are absolutely capable of harder vaults (shilese, konnor, leeanne, jordan) but are just keeping things safe and working on form. We don't want them to peak too soon. I actually think we are right where we should be. I saw some truly gorgeous vaults on day 1.

Lowered VT values make doing more difficult vaults not worth it. This code is heavily geared toward top uneven bars workers.
a 13.850 is a huge score for a yurchenko 1.5 and a 14.550 is another huge score for a dty great job Elle and Shilese

Not at all. This is not the olympic. And their DTY are exceptionally good.
