That Suffy shirt is sick. Ima huge Terrence Howard fan brother. Mike Smith as well. The be all end all sludge riff off Effigy Of The Forgotten changed my entire life man.
"all the way down" to describe drop c# is kinda funny when you've got bands like loathe and sleep token playing a full octave below that haha. Sick video, it's super cool to see riff lessons be condensed into short form content for quick learning
Thanks! I don't yet, but that's a good idea! I'd recommend the GuitarTuna app, it has settings for a bunch of drop and alternate tunings that makes them easier to figure out
Bro! Your videos are killer. I started back up last year and have learn so many great riffs because of your teaching style. The only thing as a new fan of yours I would like to know is what pedals are you using for some of these songs?
Thanks dude I really appreciate that! For pretty much everything I'm just using a Line 6 HX Stomp. It makes recording super easy, and the tones you can get with it are phenomenal imo
i know this is stupid.but i never really know or understand the drop tuning thing. i understand you change the tuning.and i can tune by ear althi i use guitar tuna app usually.but know body ever shows how to do it.i havnt heard of the drop c sharp tuning thing but i love that riff forever.i love that crunching acid dustirtion sound of the power chords
drop D tuning is essentially standard tuning but you "drop" just the low E string down an additional whole step. Drop C# is that, but you lower each string by an additional half step. On guitartuna if you tune to -20 that's a whole step, -10 is a half step. Hope this helps!
Do u have a pedal if so I was wondering if I need a certain type of amp for a pedal I have a Peavey amp 258 rage if anyone has advice I will certainly be glad to take the advice
So I'm not using any pedals but my amp is a Line 6 HX Stomp. I haven't played a 258 rage, but I do love Peaveys. Are you having trouble getting a good tone out of it?
@@mitchavedon yes I am, I just started playing guitar so I probably should have done more research but I was to excited to start playing before I could do more research

I need a stupify one
Just take a slow entrance, then speed it up. Always start slow and build it up till you "perfect" it.
Swap the guitar for a ukulele and it's Downs With the Sickness 🤙

It's a custom Balaguer Tartarus
