    I told ya she’s a beast. Her iq and what she does for the game is amazing. You don’t have to score the most points the main way to contribute to your team is impact winning.

  • @DaleFrels

    Yes, CC was the center of attention but Martin and Marshall and Stulke and others worked like clockwork with her. They knew her speed and ability and it was an all team effort to win the game. Any of them could pass to CC and know she could make the score. CC knew they were watching her closely and they may be the next one to get that bullet pass for those many assists that CC racked up night after night and the many points the rest of the team scored off those passes. Martin was awesome then and will be again for the Aces if she gets the playing time.

      Yet, another reminder that Clark didn't make it to the national championship game by herself.

      @@kevinmcgaw934 correction: they both washed to the national title game, against a very good South Carolina team that everyone respected. Sorry we aren't terribly depressed about that. They are both playing well in the W now.

      @@kevinmcgaw934This idea that the farther you go in the tournament the more of a loser you are if you don’t win the whole thing is weird to me. It must be a new concept… Butler were considered legends for making back to back championship games. Now if you get to the championship game and lose it’s considered worse than losing in the first round. Did this mindset start because of Clark? And will it continue next year for whoever loses in the final?

    • @erob1962
      @erob1962 14 дней назад +2

      Yea ... most people would rather lose in the first round than go to the finals and lose. But in this age of participation prizes and gaslighting ideologies maybe people think 2nd place is winning

    Kate Martin’s block on Li Yueru kinda reminds me of some of the blocks that Michael Jordan did, especially against 7 footers like Patrick Ewing and Rik Smits.

    People are really starting to get irritated with the whole CC and Iowa. They can fart and it's a headline. The league is full of better players.Smh😐

    • @gl2996
      @gl2996 3 дня назад +1

      What people, and why would they get irritated? The fact is, the WNBA didn't have any fans prior to the surge in interest in women's college basketball two years, ago. Whoever those people are (besides the kranky, jealous lesbian veteran players who spoke up early), they should relax. Eventually, those milliions of fans Clark brought to the league are going to discover those better players, too, and everybody wins. All those better players have to do is keep their mouths shut and not blow it. A'Ja Wilson, for example, might me a terrific player, but not many people are going to want to watch her if she continues to spout off like a racist jerk with a victim complex. If there's one thing the WNBA has shown us in 25 years, it's that it isn't enough tio be a great player. You have to be likeable and relatable, in one way or another. too.

      So it's not a blocked shot because the offensive player wasn't at the highest point of the shot? I noticed that you said your niece could block that shot, she should be proud of the uncle who takes time out to be a keyboard warrior
