Hello, mad scientist of baseball according to foolish baseball, is there any work outs to help arm strength and accuracy. Thanks go Cubs and good luck to you although you won't need it you have the skill I like your odds for cy young this year.
If you're throwing a change, especially a circle change, the pitcher should be thinking "fastball" Throw it with same motion AND same arm speed as your fastball. The grip on the ball will lessen the velocity while deceiving the hitter. Try throwing the circle change without wrapping the pinkie on the side of the ball as a brace and use a 2-seam grip (you will get nasty run/drop on this pitch). It takes practice, practice and more practice but it can essentially be an effective strikeout pitch when thrown and used properly! Practice it, trust it, use it and OWN IT!
You said the things that affect movement are velo/gravity, spin axis, and spin rate. Isn't true spin what affects movement not spin rate? Because the gyro aspect does not.
Can't a batter pick-up the difference in spin between the FB and CU if the CU has a poor spin rate (or does this not matter)? My 13YO's CU only has a little side spin and no back spin and I didn't think that was good because the lack of spin was a giveaway. Thank you very much for posting your content, its great.
@@BauerOutage Thank you for replying. Here's a short pitch sequence of my 13YO from this last weekend's action in a tournament semifinals. He's been working on his curveball and he used it to get out of this jam. Your content motivates him to work at getting better. ruclips.net/video/kV8lZ2kbF-Q/видео.html
Well, seems the velocity of the ball is a big factor of the spin rate ,so maybe training your slow pitch is a better way to get two factors , hope I'm right
TREV!!! STAY A RED PLEASE!!! I know they won’t be able to give you the top Dollars like Yanks, LA DogTurds & Red Sox but they will be able to be comparable and you’ll be part of A real team that will be more gratifying to bring Championships to because it’s not all the highest priced players & paid off rings. You’ll have A real team that will be more fun to Win with. REDS Fans freakin love you Dude. I was A HUGE FAN before you even became A RED but now.... FUGETABOUDIT! My Guy and with Castillo & Gray FUGETABOUDIT SON
Four seamer. The four seam is easier to move and can move in different ways. Not alot of people can make the 2 seamer move. Those that can make the 2 seamer move can't move it as well as a 4 seamer anyway. RUclips Video ''Stop wasting your time throwing a 2 seamer.'' Or its ''Stop wasting your time throwing these pitches'' something like that.
Trevor Bauer I tell my son (12) not to slow down throwing his change up. From the side I can tell all day what it is. He still gets the strikes. I have never checked from the batters box
Trevor bauer is one of my favorite pitchers in MLB
Truth
Stop the cap
Same dog
He’s my favorite hitter too!

Not a doubt in my mind she is after his money. Stay strong Trevor. You will get through this.
Pure pitching gold. I've been working with my son on a straight change and a circle change. We'll be using the camera behind a net soon.
I never pitch but these videos still help me as a batter. I learn what the pitcher is thinking. Coming for you Bauer! 😀
Bauer is the best! Going to be considered the most influential Player in baseball development in my lifetime.
Thanks Trevor!!
Hey Trevor I love your videos. Can you make a video about elbow injury and Tommy John surgery. How to think we should prevent them. Thank you
What makes a nasty changeup?
- Whatever Stephen Strasburg does with his changeup.
SteelersLakersFan Yeah Him and Castillo
Thanks Trevor great instruction!! all the boys on team and parents love you. Free Bauer!!!

Aye you got a haircut!
Ability to disguise change up as fastball and the right speed differential.
great to get tips from one of the great players of the game!!!!

Great video I have always had a bad changeup I think this will help. Thank you!
your teammate luis castillo's change up is insane

Owen spin axis takes into account the gyro component
Trevor Bauer but a changeup at 1:45 can still have a very small gyrodegree and a CH at 12:30 can still have a high gyrodegree correct?

hitters see spin, but they can't use that information to adjust their swing. Eye to brain to processing isn't fast enough

I need some more inter squads to be live streamed by the Reds!
7:35 is my changeup 😂
if ithe change is inside doesnt that increase the chance of it being pulled foul? youve already got the guy out in front
Is pronation good on a change up because i pronate and my change up has a late run to it
You Should Always Pronate! On every Pitch Always!
Your changeup (and slider) looked nasty on the Reds intersquad FB highlights. 7K at least 3 of them on the changeup.
For a 12 year old do you think I should throw a two-seam change up or four-seam

Nasty!!
Super funny
How
Can you breakdown Manny Machados swing?
Key point that you left out tho don’t slow your arm speed down to make your change up slower let the grip do the work
what if you slow your arm down but the hitter cant tell?
Trevor Bauer 🤯

My main pitch is a changeup
/ha knuckle ball who throws that\
