  • In this video I will fix up my "Goldie" All Gold in One Blythe Doll. She came to me with a few issues so I did some light customization on her, changed her eye chips, gave her a hair cut, new body, etc. Hope you enjoy this video!

    This is one of the most informative videos I’ve watched about customizing a Blythe. This works perfectly specially for someone who doesn’t want to venture into more elaborate doll customization it is scared of it. I absolutely loved the video and loved seeing this girl coming together. I think she is adorable and the look you went for for her is just perfect! I learn so much by watching your videos and enjoy them a whole lot. Thank you for sharing! 💗🌷

    If you put “ASMR” in the description you’ll get hundreds of views! This is fantastic.

      Did the video trigger you? I experience ASMR and I think it rubs off in my videos lol. You aren't the first person to tell me this, and I've thought of tagging my videos as unintentional asmr. ;)

      Your voice is the number one trigger. Then of course the actual intricate work you do. Perfection!

    Hi, thanks for this video. I want to made a light customisation on my Blythes without carving and this is very useful. I was wondering... Is it possible to use dry watercolours (like the ones that kid uses) instead of pastels for the make up? Thanks!

    • @BeBeDolls
      @BeBeDolls  4 года назад +3

      You can use watercolors but in general they take more layers to be effective and the quality of kid ones take even longer. But it is possible! Just don't use anything oil based. ;)

      @@BeBeDolls Thanks for your answer. I have a bunch of semi-professional dry watercolours from when I started to learn how to use them so I'll try... Instead of throwing them away. Hope the results doesn't disappoint me 😆🤣

    Aw such a nice natural restoration! I was wondering if you'd have any ideas on how to get some rusted and stuck screws out of a Blythe's head? My poor girl's pull string snapped (I've replaced it with hemp chord a while back and it really wasn't durable) and I can't get her head to open to fix it because of those stubborn screws :(

    • @BeBeDolls
      @BeBeDolls  3 года назад +1

      I would Google "how to remove striped screws"...there are a ton of techniques and I've only had to do it once but tried several. What worked for me was using a large flat rubberband between the screw and the screwdriver. I haven't tried it with rust though so you may have to remove the rust first. Just be careful with chemicals.

      @@BeBeDolls The rubber band method is a shout! but yes I shall try to remove the rust first before it gets any worse, thank you!! :))

    Hi! Excellent video, this doll ended up beautiful! Lovely new chips and everything! Just wondering, in the video it doesn’t look like you put any glue to keep her new eye chips in? Is it necessary or could I pop them in and not use glue? Thank you!

    • @BeBeDolls
      @BeBeDolls  4 года назад +2

      Thanks for the comment! I don't use glue if I can avoid it because it can make it so hard to remove or change things. My eye chips generally don't require glue at all and pop in and out easily. :)

    I`m just starting out with Blythes, Thank you for your videos. Does the Mister Clear feel tacky ? And it needs to be applied so that the pastels will adhere to the surface? Also, what grit sandpaper do you use to first sand the surface? Thank you again, your videos are helpful.

    • @BeBeDolls
      @BeBeDolls  5 лет назад +1

      Hi there...Mr Super Clear is only tacky when you first put it on. It dries smooth in about 10-20 min. Yes you need to use some kind of sealer like this to build up the pastel color. I use a mix of 200-400 grit paper to start out then a final sand of 1000. ;)

      Do you mean customized Blythe dolls or authentic base dolls? If you mean customized; I customize them myself. If you mean authentic; I usually buy on Ebay or Facebook groups. ;)
