Everyone attacking the 2 arsenal players in the starting lineup asking for them both to be replaced when arguably Saka has been the best player in a team that collectively has underperformed and looked like they won't even make it to the semis let alone to win it. Players go through rigorous recovery training after camps and matches as well, it isn't as simple as just being involved in a tournament, its one of the main reasons why this is professional sports, and not Sunday league. You can make the argument if our players didn't take care of their bodies or didn't invest time in being at the optimal condition, but let me know where you see that sort of attitude throughout our squad. Scientifically, it's actually more damaging for the players to take a longer break after such intense periods than to keep playing but just at a different intensity. Thats why during pre-season there's scheduled plans for different groups because some are further ahead in their load schedules than others.
