And even when the lead vocals were distributed when they were DC3 Beyoncé still sang the majority of the leads and most of the Adlibs because she was the lead singer..that's her job to sing LEAD...... Vocally they were definitely stronger as a trio because they could all sing very well.....Latavia and Farrah are average singers so Beyoncé was absolutely right by her statement because how can a group be truly Vocally strong with weak links??????
For Farrah Franklin, leaving Destiny's Child was the worst career move EVER! Even if all the behind-the-scenes drama was true, joining Destiny's Child was a MAJOR come-up that many women would kill for. As well, you have to pay your dues and work your way up the ranks like Beyonce and Kelly did. Such as missed opportunity.

The same thing happened to Latavia - she got sick, they left without her, and just didn't care about her well being. Letoya had Latavia's back, but Michelle didn't have Farrah's, so it's easy to see why Michelle doesn't talk about Farrah anymore even though they got along and were roommates.

You know, I don't blame Destiny's Child or Farrah for that whole thing. First of all, it's never easy coming in the middle of something that's already established. But, it's a little easier for others. Even though for the longest time, Michelle seemed to be the quiet one, she wasn't, and seemed to be the type of person that could mingle and mix her way in smoothly. Where Farah seemed a bit more reserved, and probably had a hard time adjusting. It just wasn't meant to be.

I will say that I've always believed if Destiny's Child was supposed to be a legitimate GROUP EFFORT, they would've found girls with strong voices that matched Beyonce's. I'm sure Houston had a lot of vocal talent back in the 1990s when DC was forming. But again, this is all history. The goal's been reached. You know, I don't blame Destiny's Child or Farrah for that whole thing. First of all, it's never easy coming in the middle of something that's already established. But, it's a little easier for others. Even though for the longest time, Michelle seemed to be the quiet one, she wasn't, and seemed to be the type of person that could mingle and mix her way in smoothly. Where Farah seemed a bit more reserved, and probably had a hard time adjusting. It just wasn't meant to be.
Farra said she the reason she was distant was more so because she didn't feel she was being treated with respect, which you could kinda see, and she said they told her to get the hell on and didn't care that she left.

Farrah said that she left because of management and treatment. She said that she wasn’t treated right and no one had her back. Also, maybe the work schedule got to her. She didn’t gel with the group. I think Michelle tried to gel with Beyoncé and Kelly because she was thinking about her career. Recently, she said that she was depressed when she first got in destiny child. Maybe she wanted to leave. Luckily, they gave her allowed her to shine more than Letoya, Latavia, and Farrah. Maybe that was enough for her to stay in the group 🤷🏽♂️.
Michelle fit in because she's a doormat like Kelly - she has never challenged anything within DC, whereas Farrah made herself heard when it came to how management was treating her.

Dave felt so pressured with his comedy, to a point where he didn't feel comfortable doing it anymore. That's why he turned down the 50 million dollar offer for another season. People were using him (expecting him to be a certain way) and he didn't like that. He's doing underground comedy now.

People always comment on Matthew Knowles management but really whats wrong with it. He obviously believes in hardwork and dedication. It just so happened that he wore the hat as father and manager--no one ever takes into consideration that this man gave up his six figure job to devote his time to Destiny's Child (they were his investment) and he made sure to instil values and characteristics in his investment to be sure he'd have a successful return
this is crazy! remember that mtv all access special that they did when farrah was sick and exhausted... that must've been when farrah left the group cause remember destiny's child came back downstairs to go to the spa and eat and it was just the three of them! go watch it! its on youtube! it all make sense now! farrah quit the group that day they were filming! even if you watch, you could tell that farrah had enough.

I will say that I've always believed if Destiny's Child was supposed to be a legitimate GROUP EFFORT, they would've found girls with strong voices that matched Beyonce's. I still can't buy the fact that the ONLY reason Beyonce was the lead singer was because the other girls weren't ready. I'm sure Houston had a lot of vocal talent back in the 1990s when DC was forming. But again, this is all history. The goal's been reached. Beyonce's an icon and the backup singers served their purpose. Cheers!

I love beyoncé but that was messed up for what she said about the "now everybody can sing lead" comment because last that I checked on the song Can't Help Myself Latavia and Letoya sung that song as lead and background pretty well and Farrah can sing but not in harmony with Destiny's Child as well but she sounded good in Independent Women Part I parts "I Bought It" and "I Depend On Me"
She was keeping it real....neither Farrah or Latavia are strong vocalists worthy of singing lead.....letoya is a great vocalist so that doesn't apply to her.....as a trio they were all strong vocalists
