Your video of Juncalito brings back wonderful memories for me.
Sailed the Sea of Cortez and Pacific coast Mexico from 1995 to 2005. We used (the bay next door) Puerto Escondido as our base. I know that walk from 8:30 cove over to Puerto Escondido well.
My sailing partner lived out the rest of her life in a beautiful palapa on the beach in Juncalito. She passed in 2019.
That bay is full of Delicious chocolate' clams. Yum.
I'm 77 now but I want to make one more extended trip down the Baja.

That area of Baja is just beautiful. We have stayed twice about 10 minute south at Danzante Bay. Last October the waters were 82% and air about 86%. But the waters were really calm, never seen waves in Danzante bay.
We will have to check it out!

It’s actually Hwy 1 this far south. The road apparently changes every year it it was a little rough this time. There were plenty of large rigs that made it to the beach no problem👍🏽
