I'm not mad at their arc taking so long to materialise bc i think they're endgame. I knew michael and jane wouldn't last in some way or another (death, divorce) bc they got married at the end of season 2, which is far too early for the main protagnist's love life to have peaked and have that huge aspect of the show closed off. The fact that they're taking 4 seasons to give us a fully committed Raf and Jane to me signals that they have a big story together. I think they'll get together and split up again but they will definitely be endgame
I think I agreed with the writer for not having Rafael and Jane together bcuz they had to agree together with a lot of things, Rafael as a lot of money, and Jane is very conservative, Rafael sometime think Jane is running his life making more financial choices when it comes to their sons trust fund! But now they since Rafael spend more time with Jane and her family it gave the chances to see things from different aspect...
