The Sportbot ball machine is available for early bird price of 3550 EUR which will rise to 5420 EUR soon. Order here: bit.ly/4dtZnY4 Shipping is currently available only in EU but will be also available worldwide in 2025.
I m using this machine in my local tennis club, and it helps me focus more direclty on a student, without playing an acctual rally! I also did some drills for the younger players, and they love a presence of a moving robot. I would like to see / hear a signal just before a ball launches... because of preperation sequence.. Hope that Sportbot guys will implenet that in the near future.
It would be cool if a ball machine sometime in the future can "see" where you hit the ball and move to the area of the court where you hit the ball, further mimicking a real-life player
This is fabulous, well done to the creator and it will really help players do a good practice session which has versatility and work on all strokes and movement.
Hi im a physician, i used to play tennis when i was a child and now im Back 2 months ago. Maybe we can talk and i can help you selling this product in Brazil. I really liked It. 👍
Great idea and best of luck with your product. Unfortunately as mentioned, it is way too expensive for personal use. Hopefully, you can get business from clubs here in the U.S.
Looks like a couple of this, paired together with a little help of computer vision can play like a real person. Too bad it probably would be more expensive than hire a decent hitting partner.
€5420 Euro MSRP = $5,540 USD vs $2,999 MSRP for the Tennibot, which moves side-to-side and backwards & forwards, has cameras and includes a device that calibrates the ball landing locations as well as does line-calling. It also bases the ball shooting on the players location using computervision. Sportbot claims it's the first to do what it does but Tennibot does even more and neither has even reached the market yet. Sportbot's mesh hopper is an exact copy of Hydrogen Sports Proton's hopper. I think Sportbot has already been massively leapfrogged. And no I don't for Tennibot but just noticed the glaring differences.
Nice, but I wonder how this machine moves on clay. And I'm still waiting for a ball machine that gives a visual indication of when it is about to spit out the ball. This would help immensly to time the split step properly.
There are some special settings for clay that you can choose in the mobile app. Machine works great if the clay is hard enough, but moves slower if the clay is softer - after rain usually.
I've been playing tennis since I was a kid, and I remember the days when my backhand was a total disaster 😂 The real struggle was finding someone willing to stay on the court as long as I wanted to! When I found Sportbot, I knew right away it had serious potential. I bought one of the first machines, and honestly, it's been a game changer! Now I can train as much as I want without feeling guilty for wearing out a practice partner. Sportbot, you're a lifesaver. Thumbs up! 👍🎾
It’s a nice machine but also expensive. I mean, there’s no advantage that worth pay this price compared to another models available on market. Try to get some investors, business partner to scale this. It’s nice!
thats great but really expensive. Are you manufacturing and marketing this yourself? If so you might consider working with a sport company who can absorb the cost for the first few years si yoy can sell it at the price of a normal ball machine.

It's extremely expensive. The competition will kill you if you are not competitive. There is Parter machine from Tennibot less then 2k€..so
I dont get the advantge of it moving
Different angles maybe? :)
