Thank you for this video. When you do a comparison video with SmokeFire, please cook some meat by removing the heat deflector at the lower grill, kind of like searing.
Tony! You are the MAN! I bought the Camp Chef based on my curiosity and the confirmation that your reviews and videos provided. When can we get one of the signs that your sister made?
Tony, I noticed you have a Weber smoke fire in the garage also. I would love to get your take on comparing the performance of those two smoker/grills. I am actually on the fence as to which one I want to get.
Probably too late now, but the Camp Chef has much more usable space. I have this same Camp Chef in 36", I fit 6 full size pork butts easily. The top grates have much more overhead room. Also on barbecue forums the Weber is sometimes referred to as the Grease Fire.
Waiting to get mine but I wouldn’t recommend doing a initial burn in the garage with the car parked in front of it. Who knows what’s burning off and if it going to catch fire
I can do blue tooth with my cell phone, but I don't have wi-fi. Do I need wi-fi to cook on a Camp Chef 36 or can I just use the installed control panel? Thanks
I have the CC wifi 24 arriving next week so I have been watching every video I can. Based on what I have watched and read you can definitely use the control panel but this grill also has bluetooth so you should be good to go. 👍
I don’t recall seeing any Camp Chef pellets at the specialized retail store where I bought my CC Woodwin. I would not be surprised if most brands come from a small number of manufacturers that package the pellets under different labels.
Thanks for the video. My Woodwind 36/Sidekick just got delivered yesterday so today is "get to know my Camp Chef Day". Burn-in, connect etc.
Best pellets money can buy are lumberjack. They work great in my 36, smoked several brisket with their red oak.
Can you reach 500F with deflector in place ? Highest I get w lumberjack is 420 on my 36 WW

i wish my garage was that clean
Thanks for the vid. Did you wash the packing oil off the diffuser and drip tray first before the initial burn?
Just got the same grill yesterday, thanks for this

I used to use Camp Chef's competition blend. Now I use their bag gourmet 33lb bag from Costco for $20.

Do you happen to know if the vents in the back close all the way?
Helpful video! I don't see the time displayed on the app nor a way to set a timer on the smoker or the app - am I missing something?
Greetings from Montana! Being in Idaho, do you use your grill in your garage for 4 season grilling? Thanks
Don't use any grill in the garage as you have carbon monoxide from the burning fuel, in this case the pellets.

So the new Traeger Pro 575 u have or this one?
Ok,looks like I need an upgrade. My ancient Traeger does not have all these cool new features.
I sold my old Treager to get the Camp Chef wifi 36. Set it up yesterday, A bit of a learning curve from the Treager after all these years.

@@robertnorris8295 thanks Tony. 👍
Can you reach 500 F ? Only get 420 with lumberjack maybe I need to try the CC brand
Nice pressure washer!
You should just put the grill on top of the hood of the car and get it over with, lol.
How often do I need to dump the ash catcher if im smoking for a long time?
You domt need to donit while you cook. Only in between cooks.
The manual specifically says NOT to remove the ash cup while you are smoking
Having lots of trouble with my new smoker
Lid should be open during start up 7min. Then , when you start 350 temp , close the lid…
Thought I was going to die yesterday with all the smoke . Yep , First time using it. I couldn’t see a freaking thing in front of me.
i stick with camp chef pellets i've heard other brands can jam up
I had my grill 3 years and I use what’s on sale or what I get a deal on. YOU DONT HAVE TO STICK WITH CAMP CHEF! happy grillin

Nobody uses a leaf blower to clean this bad boy out
I do sometimes. I use a shop vac before every cook, every 4 or 5 cooks I hit it with a leaf blower as well.
