This wheel is reeeeaally comfortable to ride. Like amazingly so. Gave it a 20 minute go the other day. It EATS bumps and stairs. Wish the battery was bigger but it’s a great wheel.
As far as I know, compared to the master, the hero has better construction, sealing, and structural rigidity. So with the master they chose to make the body worse to fit more battery in at the same total weight. I personally much prefer the better body over the extra battery. And if you did both you'd have a lardy ass EX20s, which I personally think is too heavy and big
I enjoy this wheel. It seems to get better the more I ride it. No issues so far at all. Suspension is smooth and not an issue pumping it up. I'm at 200 lbs and the wheel works great and cruises well on the road. I ride mostly on trails, but love the sound of the wheel and motor on pavement. And the wheel design looks great.
@@johchadow 220 or so. I've played around from 200 - 230 and it seems to work for me. No jumps, etc. Just trails and lately 29 mph road rides... I also ride at 34 -36 tire pressure.

I can still hear that suspension knock in my brain, NOT what you ever want to hear from a suspended wheel. The S20 just SO outclasses this wheel in all ways. Thanks for the video Jimmy.

@jimmy Chang the pump you need to adjust at the base there are 2 position and then you can easily inflate the suspension above 200psi. I had the same issue with my S18
I gotta say I do like how this wheel looks, but performance wise it seems a bit mediocre. Someone in UK (a video I ran across) switched their tyre out to a Michelin and they said it totally changes how it rides (as in its better), however it lost its offroad capabilities, but with a suspension that doesn’t seem to have much travel, might just be better for on road riding. 🤷🏻♂️
It bottoms out no matter how much PSI you put it in is because it has a TINY amount of travel . If you take a look at the S20 , it has a massive suspension compared to to the Hero's so you have a lot more leeway until it bottoms out . i would just leave it as it is with 200psi as it looks like a no name air suspension. If you pump too much and land hard enough , it'll blow out the cylinder .
Hi Jimmy, I unboxed my Hero the other night that I also got from Alien rides, and it is great. I pumped it up to about 220 psi because the pump is very strange the tip of the pump would not turn so I had to turn the whole pump to get it on and off and I figured I was going to lose some when I took it off due to the unscrewing, so I think I'm about 200 to 210 psi and it handled the bumps well for me at 185 lb. On my first ride, I went up and down 18 overpasses in very windy weather 10mm charade up the battery and I still got 50 Mi with about 30% remaining. Alien had it on sale for $3250, and as you noted between the spiked pedals and the power pads which I estimate to be a $300 value it's not bad. Also, it's the only next-gen suspension wheel that you could get your hands on right now. Mine took about a week to get to me and there was a train derailment delay Incorporated in that. You are gutsy for riding it in the snow and ice like that. Straight flat pavement it handled it so well, and likewise when I went off that trail onto a dirt Trail at handled it like a champ. All in all, I am very pleased with this wheel and like it a whole lot better than the S18, and that says a lot because I really loved that wheel. When the wind dies down, I'm going to try another range test and I estimate I should be able to get 60 miles out of it. My plan is that this will hold me over until the Master arrives which they are estimating to be mid-to-late summer. The way things go with delays in shipping from China, it could be even later than that, who knows, I'm glad I have this wheel.
