Begode Master Unboxing & Deep Dive: Their Best Suspension EUC had Some Issues

  • We unbox and test the Begode Master and find a few issues with the Best Suspension EUC ever made by Begode. The Begode Master EUC is one of the most anticipated electric unicycles of 2022. The Begode Master combines Begode and Gotway power with suspension to make an amazing EUC.
In the past, choosing a suspension wheel, meant less power. With the Begode Master, you get the benefits of suspension along with 134 volts of power to make most EUC enthusiasts happy.

This wheel is special. But like all new release EUCs, there is room for improvement.

Great review, this is like the wheel I always wanted but didn't exist at the time I bought my RS (I think the V11 and S18 were the only ones out at the time, maybe EX was coming out soon?)
But I wanted the suspension, high speed, and torque (and acceptable battery capacity). I hope they update it to sort out the trolley handle issue (and tail light) Things like that are a bummer when wheels are getting into $3,000+ pricepoints, but first iterations are rarely perfect.

Thanks for the great review Jimmy and Andrew! I just got back from riding the Master. I agree with almost everything you brought up. I do really love the power delivery and ride of the wheel. Nice, got one on order from EWheels and will get the 40T packs. I ride the RST w Mollicel 42a packs and can attest to their power and able to ride low battery percentage (teens) before I notice reduced power. Highly recommend high capacity packs, they’re safer too. I’d like to see the fender material on this swapped, plastic inner and metal outer. Those beeps when laying on the kickstand is annoying and don’t see any purpose whatsoever so I likely will rarely use it. Otherwise, looking like a strong wheel. Good unboxing, thanks.

Damn i gotta try that stairs trolley handle trick and see if it pops up on mine. Will report back. I also faced the same issues when pumping the suspension. Im surprised you guys prefer the suspension on the s22. I felt it was very stiff in comparison to air suspension, granted i just tested it at a demo vs owning the Master. The crash on turns is due to the combination of higher pedals and crappy knobby tire. That tire has also that hidden feature of making you lean on a side faster during strong wind gusts. Tire change is mandatory in the Master!! Good video!!

Love the torque, display, and seated area of the Master, but I don't think it would hold up to the same amount of abuse that early reviewers did to the S20. I also wonder what would happen to those batteries in a crash if someone took off the Begode pads and managed to put on something aftermarket. At least the front bumper on the S22 is an easily replaceable part and cheap enough to stock up on replacement bumpers. Having your light get damaged is a bigger issue.

The poor pump hahahaha. I got a nicer pump after realizing how bad the generic pumps are at higher pressures. 250+PSI super easy now.
I am looking forward to seeing other shocks people fit into the Master. A smaller chamber should help a ton with the bottoming out, the stock shock isn't progressive enough. It's a shame they put such a lackluster shock in.
The handle fragility is disappointing, and there are the usual GotWay design oversight type stuff, like the missing holes in the foam, the rubber bumpers on the stand not really being in the right place, and lack of water proofing. But also like a GotWay, it looks to be easy to work on, and I think waterproofing DIY shouldn't be too awful.
I'm still looking forward to it. The S22 is just too wide for my legs, while the Master I can stand over okay. I'm a tinkerer and don't totally mind dialing in the wheel to me, but I can totally see the appeal of something with more polish and togetherness. An exciting time for EUCs, nonetheless =)

Why aren't you including the EX2.0S (which appears to just be a variant version of the Hero anyways) but as far as the new line of suspension wheels go- my pick is probably going to be the EX2.0sHS only because I like the raw stripped down appearance and the all metal construction. Plus it's only a 100v wheel but the 100v system is tried true & tested unlike these 120+volt systems. So I'm a little more trusting and confident that it's not going to fail (like the s20 in NY)

Great review guys, loving alot of aspects about this wheel your right about how many suspension wheels begode have come out with before this one... but they are still behind in the suspension department in comparison to kingsong 🤔. I hope they get those few niggles sorted like the handle popping up, protecting/make stronger rear light, better front light.... it would help if the pedal height could be adjusted too . Even without those things it's a top road wheel. I reckon ks will over come their short falls a la the 16x and look how good that turned out.. ks don't seem to have to make so many different wheels before they make a good one, middle of next year will be the time to buy the ks22 they've already improved the initial torque alot just with software upgrades and there will be more to come knowing them ,

I watched a wrong way video and he only pumped up the suspension to 200 psi, by the way you were forcing it with the supplied pump I would think that's all you were meant to pump it up . OMG, they need to fix the handle popping up, it wasn't even a long stairs or high speed. Also the back light is so like glass, so disappointing after spending thousands of hard earned dollars. Begode please fix the handle (safety issue to my most important body part), and the back light cover (so prototype feel).

Have you tried pumping Air while wheel is laying down… Cause your pumping air with the weight of the wheel as a risistance… I think? Also Isnt temperature directly proportional to air compression… hmm…

Hi Jimmy, I love you content & channel. I'm VERY NEW to making content on RUclips, & doing reviews, I've had A MILLION DOORS slammed in my face "trying" to grow traction, getting e-Bikes to test & review, I have an affiliate deal with an e-Bike company, because I've helped them sell a good amount of e-Bike's from my posts on Reddit, Facebook & other platforms, but I can't get any other company to see my worth, reviewing their products, well that's if they're good, if it's crap I'll say it is! 😂
I wish I had money to buy TONS of toys to review, so my channel would grow, but I've been unemployed due to long term Covid, & almost dying twice from it in the last year, so I really can't work a traditional job right now, I REALLY NEED this to work, especially because I'm a single father with no help, & no income for a year already, have no more valuables to sell to keep us afloat!
Can you give me any good advice?
    Thank you! 👍

It seems like the S22 suspension is still better but all these early reviews severely underpumped this shock. I understand begode gave no information at the time but a 200lb rider should be at like 350lbs not 250.
