- Ramp Start, Taxi, Take-off, strike and recovery landing. Full strike mission with detailed voice recording. I created a quick single ship strike mission on the DPRK (Korea 2010) P'Yonggang Bridge.
I still have the manual for toilet reading lol Learnt how to deploy a Maverick while dropping a deuce!
^ truly an american comment

whats the difference
I was buying this game in 1999, i think it was. It was a very modern game. The graphics were 10/10 at the time on a good graphics card. Loved it.
Same here. Back in the day. This was the combat flight simulator that had my full attention. It fully prepared me for Falcon BMS to date.
What a great game...love the ramp start. You're definitely a pro at that!!
Thank you Gino man. I played this sim for a long time and it never got boring. Definitely a classic.
I played Falcon 4.0 and have that CD but never came to all manual start up mode, you did well with preflight check just like on real fighter plane amazing.
Thank you. Allied Force really set the standard for me. I actually randomly recorded this video/tutorial when I was stationed in the army. I had my whole basic hotas setup in my barracks room and would fly nearly every other weekend. Shortly after I started to get into BMS and online multiplayer.
BMS improved this game so much, good work on their part
why is this scam bot everywhere.
I always wanted to pilot an F-16. Unfortunately I have bipolar disorder and would not qualify for the Air Force. It’s nice to know that I can at least simulate it through this awesome game that I’ve played for years.
Nice job. Brings back memories
Would have been nice if you gave a play-by-play description of what commands you did. Example, gear up, flaps, etc. But I suppose that's not what you were trying to show. Nice video. More complex than I remember my Falcon 4.0 back in the late 90s huh?
I plan on making another video very soon. I'll make sure to include the commands on that one. The more detail, the better 👍
@@GeorgeStarkes Thanks. The one I had was purchased around 2004 or 2005. It was Falcon 4.0. However, I don't remember it being this complex I was just wondering how long it would take for me to get up to speed on this newer version in order to enjoy it. I'm also looking at purchasing a Thrustmaster setup. Thanks for your video
@@1MoreFish from my understanding since I've never played the original Falcon 4.0. it's basically the same functions, but more interactive with the graphics and overall cockpit functions. But if you were descent playing the original Falcon then the learning curve will be rather easy. Plus there are plenty of training missions pre-installed into the Sim to get you up to speed on air-to-ground and air-to-air combat.
This is the video that got me into falcon 4 and bms, thank you so much!
Your welcome. Glad to hear that. I'll be uploading more videos soon flying BMS 4.35💯
@@GeorgeStarkes just got this Sim along with many others, been hooked since my first crash. Landing is a bitch and somehow i had my first successful one at night.
@@captainhindsight5728 Landing has always been my favorite. Definitely a challenge for a while, but the less fuel you have the easier it is to guide your aircraft in for a nice flare into the touchdown. Usually 4,000 pounds or less.
@@GeorgeStarkes thanks George, I'm going to try that now, just got to find the fuel dump switch. ( Alt-D )
Best thing about the game was the fast forward feature .
Indeed. That feature definitely helps speed through a long flight with little to no threats around. Also ramp starts & takeoff times.
Mite of been a rough touch down. But at least you know to keep the nose up. Great vid. Now I have to find this game again lol.
Its on steam for like 8 bucks I think
That’s crazy I used to do that in the a-10 to do weapons ground functional checks.
I remember playing this game when I was 5-6 years old
how old are you now?
Wow, quite demanding for a kid
@@anthonyscott1997 At that age I've already taught myself to drop all the mk, cbu, gbu bombs, shoot maverick missles at tanks, and go on missions to drop durandal bombs on enemy runways. I played using the keyboard, I had no joystick.

This is how the world is seen
with the pilot helmet visor on.
I tried a lot how to play it right but my brain just couldn't handle the amount of info required to succeed. Is there any modern simulator as difficult as this one?
DCS World
@@theuniquedude994 dcs world has need the same info as this game
well, if you still want the difficulty but not all the info you could try war thunder simulator air battles, but its a big grind and you start with ww1/ww2 planes
Just learn, dude.
I just found this game in my dads closet still in the box new and never opened
Now I have to find a computer that can run it lol
NICE. I'm currently building a new gaming computer to fly my combat sims. Once you get a computer to fly, it will be well worth it.
@@GeorgeStarkes cool! it says it runs on windows 98/95 can it run on a newer windows?
@@matt_548vnd4 Yes. I currently have it running flawlessly on Windows 10 Home.
@@GeorgeStarkes sweet!!!!!!!!
matt_548[-FSL1] get falcon bms
Bullshit ten minutes! This thing will be over in two minutes, GET ON IT!
I notice that the 2D cockpit here is a little wider and legs show up in the 3D cockpit, can you recall how you got those?
Shift + 2 I think
For a game that came out in 1998 it still looks pretty darn good
falcon bms updates every year..
I play DCS all the time but was always way too intimidated to play this even though I still own the original game.
Yes, I am that lame.
But awesome to see you playing it even if this was 2 years ago!
You should check out BMS 4.35. It has made this look very dated. Really worth giving it a go as it's a superb simulation. Full of depth and really rewarding once you start to learn how it all works.
@G E T R E K T 905 Yep, I fly DCS regularly and crap my pants when i see Falcon. The UI is archaic. You'd have to have a PhD in Falcon BMS UI to be able to navigate it properly.
man I tried a lot to start my plane but I am unable to start it.
I dont know how to start it.
Read the manual, take a class, do a rain dance!
@@robertsartino7664 ?
@@zubairali6863 read the manual and learn, what you did not understand?
@@aviator1111 lol now I know how to fly from runway but don't know how to lock and hit the target 😂🤣
@@aviator1111 I will check it
Sweet game.
I am flying this one DCS and I wanted to compare it to this game. They did a pretty good job back then with what they had to work with. Now it's not much of a contest. But for simplicity and just flying to blow something up, this game is awesome.
now the bms falcon 4.37 is amazing haha
DCS still does not have a dynamic campaign
@@tonywalker5746 Whatever.
@@tonywalker5746 never mind him, just a DCS fan venting. Falcon 4 BMS 4.37.2 is even more complex than DCS. And there's the good old F4 dynamic campaign. There's not much contest.
what a great guy
I don’t know why my frames drop when I have camera view slightly lower (the hud and the front instruments) any clue to what could be causing this?
Not sure on that one. Try tweaking your in game graphic settings a bit. It's been a good while since I've flown Allied Force so it may just be that way.
Can I make use of 3 monitors? Will that actually improve the overal experience?
Yes indeed. Depending on the size of the monitors, especially using Track IR 5
Do I need CD also after buying this game on steam
Nope
@@Johnny_1 Some people have written so I was asking
@@stealthtomcat4739this game is not on steam
I've purchased FSX off of steam and flying it, I got me my new PC but its not fast enough to handle 2020 so I got the FSX instead.
I remember this game. It had a lot, if not huge, batches of bugs.
How did you get the Kneeboard information. Is it a mod and if so can you tell me where and how to install. Thanks.
The kneeboard info is there automatically. You just have to click on the right side of the actual kneeboard where the tabs are to cycle through the sheets.
@@GeorgeStarkes Thank you so much, I'm an idiot..lol. love your videos and setup, keep up the good work.
@@rhugg215 Thanks man. Definitely, will do.
Hello mate, great video!
I'm also playing this but I have a problem with tws
I don't know how to switch between locked targets to fire amraam at them...
Can you give me a hint?
I would check the manual for that. It might be (TMS Right). I only fly BMS 4.35 U1 as of now. Been a while since I've flown Falcon 4.0 allied force.
@@GeorgeStarkes I checked the manual and didn't find tws right there, but I found out that the radar can go to next or previous target with PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN button.
The problem is when I do that while the radar is tracking multiple targets nothing will happen
Don't know if I'm doing something wrong or it's a bug
Anyway, thanks for your help mate.
No problem man. Happy to help. If you ever fly BMS. Let me know. We have a great virtual squadron and fly a lot. We even started up a UPT course from ground up all the way to multiplayer TVT (team vs team) campaigns.
how can I take off with keyboard and mouse
Under the controller section in the menu. The best and only way this sim should be flown is with a descent joystick and throttle.
Yeah, just don't try to play with Keyboard, you won't have much fun.
I am currently looking for a decent joystick. Any ideas on something that doesn't break the bank??
@@GeorgeStarkes Descent? That old game came with good joysticks?
@@miraam1 I currently use the THRUSTMASTER WARTHOG stick. Before that I used the Logitech extreme 3D pro for many years. It's mainly user preference for hotas, but usually best not to cheap out on it as well.
allied force is a sim of bms
bms is a sim of real f16
I currently play BMS 4.34 on Discord.
Are these bombs guided or free falling?
Laser guided💥💥

Personally I like Allied Force better than BMS.. love its 2d cockpit.
I know what you mean. I have both Sims, but I rarely play BMS
This game was extremely complicated I eventually had to stop playing but I so want to get back into it.
Why does it seem like BMS cockpit other than the 3d aspect seem like such a downgrade. This cockpit looks so much better. Clear, and photo realistic.
u playing on a VR ?
No. Just Trackir 5 with the pro clip
Not so bad landing in my mind ...
lucky the landing gear didn't break.
easy to play on lowest level of difficulty
