By far my favorite unit type in Squad! It's such a great balance between speed, armor, and firepower. Which is ironic, since Combined Arms should be that, but it just feels like the worst of all worlds. Motorized units generally excel over other unit types in the mid game when things are starting to settle down but people haven't dug in so hard.
These videos need to be available in-game in the tutorial section. They are so helpful! Keep making them and we can hope that the new players get to see them
First comment! Also great video. Really love the series, and keep it up! You should do new videos like this for every faction added, that way you don’t have to update the old ones
It’s Literally just Mechanized but They Wanted another Word to Portray how much Poorer of a Dedicated Mechanized Unit They Are As in Factually, It’s just Mechanized like All US Military except… Yeah, just outright Mislabeled Stryker Brigades Are Proper Armored Mech, as in Poorer Armored This Title Serve’s no Purpose except for Poor Paramilitary because Dedicated Light Infantry Is Personified by It’s Expeditionary Light Infantry, not just They’re Lighter Mass Cars Egh Too Mindnumbing anyways
You’re the only sane person in the comments. This unit type IS mechanised. The NATO symbol means “wheeled armoured infantry”, motorised infantry has its own unique symbol. I know USA was too stupid to come up with a general term and had to resort to calling this “Stryker” but there’s no way in hell this is motorised. Motorised is unarmoured transport, mechanised is armoured transport. You can then add the term armoured infantry if you want to specify which units have IFVs as opposed to the mechanised infantry in APCs.
