  • This has been a long time in planning and it's finally come together. I haven't been working on my regular video projects because this and other things have been taking up most of my time and energy. Although I am still working on my other content.
To have a water feature like this installed by professionals, it would be VERY expensive. This is still a large chunk of change (mainly the liner and boulders), but I'm saving several thousand by doing it myself. My previous video went over the cost and cost savings.

Thanks for watching. First I'd like to point out that these pond videos are not really current in relation to the upload dates. During the build it was constantly wet and raining and it became a real problem. After the build, the rain stopped and went into a long drought which was not great for the plants. I wish it was the opposite as far as the weather played out. You can choose to deal with heat exhaustion in the warm dry season to make the dig/rocking easier or you can do it in the cold wet season and deal with all the lovely issues mud and standing water creates. Best tip I can offer is to avoid digging a hole when its wet or if rain is expected. Water under a liner can go from making this difficult to impossible real quick.

Sound is horrible. You're quiet, the water is loud.

Yes I am aware. Recording with a cell phone sucks but it’s convenient and I forgot to make audio adjustments in post.
