- Just a short video on some of the cars you guys haven't seen much of. 1967, 1971, and 1973 Oldsmobile Toronados with two 455s and one 425 and a 1969 Buick Riviera with a 430-4. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for Watching! :)
Now THOSE are the cars I grew up with! 🥳🤟🏾🇺🇸😎👍🏾🥰🔥🤴🏾
Amazing cold starts! I like That! Beautiful Old us cars! Big blocks are the best engines of the world!! Please post more videos Guys!!
The cameraman did a good job starting them and keeping them running. He knows how to feather a gas pedal to keep a carbed engine running.
The drivetrain from the 1973 Oldsmobile Toronado was used to create the GMC Motorhome from the 1970s.
I love cold starts and pedal pumping too... More videos please
I love hearing that '73 Toronado starter. Just like I remember the old '71 or '72 Buick Skylarks - heck, all '71-'76 GMs on a morning cold start: woowuhwuhwoowuhwuhwoowuhwuh. Once they were warmed up, it was just a quick turn of the key and a split-second sound of "Vee-ew" and they were going. And that deep, low-key, V8 exhaust note - why can't we have that on all the full size pickups today?
We need to see more work done on these cars
Cool old cars.
The second and third one's definitely seemed to start better.
Now you guys are talking my language! Haha. I love them!!! You can really see the design cues that Olds used in the body lines of the 67 Delta 88 that I have versus your Toronado. Gotta love that 425! To my knowledge, I thought they only made the 425 from 66 through 67. I could be wrong though. All I know is my 67 Delta 88, and 67 Delmont 88 have the 425. Thanks for the video!
Love that 67 . The exhaust is kinda similar to glasspacks but they were the ones that those toronados came with from factory. Great car with a amazing engine , may be the best big block made by olds. Hope u do more videos of that car.
Hell yeah Oldsmobile made some Good motors back then
Talented backyard mechanics!!!
Do some more cold starts! Love these kinds of vids. I love the sound of the 455s.
Love the pre 69 cars with the ignition switch in the dash!
The white Olds sounds beautiful with those glass packs :)
Glad to see a video! Keep em’ coming!
Yes I love cold starts
DAMN such beautiful designs, so much better than the cars today..My Mom always wanted one, but Dad said a 98 or a Custom Cruiser wagon, so we had 98s, then after the last of us left home, in the 80's they were downsized and Mom hated the new design...
It's really good to see that these cars are still here and running. Top of the line luxury in their day. But why did the '73 Toronado sit for years and years?
Personal lURUXY back in the days
Keep posting more videos!👍
I love the toranado at the beginning! Those are comfy cars to ride in, especially if it has the pillow top style seats.. I currently have a 71 Cutlass S and it’s amazingly comfortable to drive
Engine rebuilds and swaps would be cool to see.
I got a '73 Toronado in blue, good car.
That's what I'm talking about!
I had a red 73 Toronado bought it from my brother in 78-or 79. Replaced my 70 Riviera with it, and the Riviera was a better car Rivieras from 66-69 are just beautiful, personally I like the boattail Riv better than the Toronado but the big FWD car handles so well , I hear exceptionally well in snow. The 455 came out with the 1970 models
Happy 2019 fellas ! They sure sound good up & running Be Well, Friends ! ATB T God Bless
some 77 Trans Am Lights would look kinda good on the back of it...
That square body crew cab in the back ground does it run and is it rebuild able ?
1:55 better foot action than Lars Urlich!!!
The first toronado came out in 1966 I have one in my collection
greetings from Russia , you have a very beautiful car
Are you Guys still working on the 1969 Cadillac coupe DeVille
You should do an episode on all of your square body trucks.😄
These cars use be the shit personal lURUXY like it keep them 💎
Would you guys have any idea what cam specs are in the 67? Thats the sound i want on my car, and been looking hard for some specs :)
Thanks for your video's. Good to see you guys hard at work. I like the sound tracks (music) you use in your video's. Could you let me know who the musician is or album name . Thanks.
My eyes kept wondering towards the covered camaro, Im curious whats the status on that one.
67 TORO IS THE BEST I GOT ONE IN Turquoise BLUE COLOR 425 SUPER ROCKET V8 YOUNG MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's the status of the 67 Toronado? For sale? I see that it has the rare rear defogger option and that someone hacked the crap out of the instrument panel to remove the radio.
Going to fix a few things and yes it has rear defogger and I have another dash bezel to replace the hacked radio removal and also have a radio from a 68 Toro. Car is not for sale yet. Maybe when I start driving this I'll want to keep it!! Rare cars nowadays. Thanks for watchin'!
BigSky ChevyGuys, I'd keep it! They are getting harder to find.
Do you still have the 73 if so is it 4 sale
Onside pumping
