This song reminds me of my childhood back in Lalitpur, Oasis School during the 2000’s On the ground floor of the boys hostel, which was situated on the second floor while the ground floor was kitchen and also had a dining room, was an ice-cream fridge that they had brought for the upcoming fair or something. I don’t remember quite well. It was also weird that it was kept outside instead of in the building as it was full of different flavours of ice creams maybe cause there was an outlet to plug the machine. I remember a guy, senior to me, dashing from the stairway towards the fridge with a bowl in his hands. I didn’t fully understood his intentions right at that moment but it was funny how he dashed in, slid the slide of the fridge, scooped the ice cream, slid it shut and ran back up the stairs to the boys dormitory all in a matter of seconds. Ahh, the memories. I did not enjoy the “extra” class in Januka ma’am’s room on the terrace though haha not that it was often but i do remember me and Tulsi missing all the fun while our friends were out playing. The school’s weekly swimming trips, yearly fairs full of games, bingo events, Nuk Dai’s gaming cyber and finally the yearly exhibitions of showcasing each house’s projects are the memories I fondly remember and hope to never forget... good old times. Now that we are older, everyone’s mostly out of contact & in different parts of the world. I hope everyone’s doing good!
