    Sahih al-Bukhari 1130
    Narrated Al-Mughira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to stand (in the prayer) or pray till both his feet or legs swelled. He was asked why (he offered such an unbearable prayer) and he said, "should I not be a thankful slave."

There are so many people who have those things.
So,many of them saying "yeah, That's their Goal,Right?
    WEALTH and FAME.
Let's look at the people who have wealth and fame.
The people who have wealth and fame.
Why are many of them fall into depression..?
Why are many of them committing suicide..?
Why are many of them addicted to alcohol and drugs..?
What is it that they are missing?
If they have the wealth and fame, what Emptiness is it that they are trying to fill?
The Reason that happens is coz there is something inside of every human being that has to be filled and it can't be filled with wealth and fame.
In fact,it can't be filled with anything other than the nearness to Allāh سبحانه وتعالى
There is a need inside of us.
There is a need inside of every human being that can't be filled, except in the Remembrance of Allāhعزَّوجَلََّّ
Indeed, Its in the Remembrance of الله heart finds true inner peace and tranquility.

    I was laughing
    When she compares
    Medicine with namaz
    In my country:
We neither pray nor take medicine
    As it is prescribed.
Not only namaz we are not serious in praying accordingly even medicine we do not take accordingly.

Ibn al-Qayyim on the Hadith Qudsi :
"I Have Divided the Prayer Between Myself and My Servant..."
    Abu Hurairah said:
I have heard the Prophet ﷺ (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) say:has
"Allaah (the Mighty and Sublime) said:
I have divided prayer between Myself and My servant into two halves,
and My servant shall have what he has asked for.
    When the servant says:
All praise belongs to Allaah the Rabb of all the Worlds.
Allaah (mighty and sublime be He) says:
    My servant has praised Me.
    And when he says:
The Most Gracious the Most Merciful
Allaah (mighty and sublime be He) says:
    My servant has extolled Me,
    and when he says:
Master of the Day of Judgement
Allaah (mighty and sublime be He) says:
My servant has glorified Me , and on one occasion He said:
My servant has submitted to My power.
    And when he says:
You alone do we worship and from You alone do we seek help
    He says:
This is between Me and My servant,
and My servant shall have what he has asked for.
    And when he says:
Guide us to the Straight Path,
the Path of those whom you have favoured,
not of those upon whom is Your anger, nor of those who are astray
    He says:
    This is for My servant,
and My servant shall have what he has asked for."
[Reported by Muslim, Maalik, at-Tirmidhee, Abu Daawood, an-Nasaaee and Ibn Maajah]
    Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said:
    And when he says:
All praise is due to Allaah the Rabb of all the Worlds,
he pauses for a short while waiting for the response of his Lord:
    "My servant has praised Me."
    Then when he says:
The Most Gracious the Most Merciful,
    he waits for the response:
    "My servant has extolled Me"
    and when he says:
Master of the Day of Judgement,
    he waits for the response:
    "My servant has glorified Me."
It is the delight of his heart,
the pleasure of his eye and the joy of his soul that his Lord says about him:
    "My servant" three times.
    By Allaah!
If the fumes of desire and the darknesses of the soul were not upon the hearts,
they would have flown out of happiness and joy
that their Lord, Maker and Diety says:
    "My servant has praised Me,
    My servant has extolled Me
and My servant has glorified Me."
Then there would have been space in his heart to witness (the reality) of the three names which are the basis of all the Beautiful Names and these are:
    Allaah, ar-Rabb and ar-Rahmaan...
    ...When he says:
Master of the Day of Judgement,
he witnesses the glory which befits none but the the King,
    the Truth, the Manifest.
So he witnesses a very powerful and compelling King,
to Whom the whole creation has yielded, to Whom the faces are humbled,
to Whom the the creation humbles itself, and to Whom every possessor of power and honour submits.
He witnesses with his heart a King
    (Who is) upon
    the Throne of the Heaven...
    ...And then he says:
You alone do we worship and from You alone do we seek help,
in which lies the secret of the creation and the affair,
of the world and the hereafter,
and which contains the loftiest of goals and the most excellent of means
    (of approach to Allaah).
The loftiest of goals is enslavement to Allaah and the most excellent of means is His help and assistance.
There is no diety deserving of worship in truth except He and there is no helper in His worship besides Him.
    Therefore,
His worship is the greatest of goals and His aid is the loftiest of means...
...And these words contain the two types of Tawheed and they are
    Tawheed ur-Ruboobiyyah and
    Tawheed ul-Uloohiyyah.
Devotion to Allaah is comprised in His names ar-Rabb and Allaah,
so he is worshipped on account of His Uloohiyyah,
help is sought from Him on account of His Ruboobiyyah and He guides to the Straight Path on account of His Mercy.
The first part of the surah therefore, mentions His names Allaah,
ar-Rabb and ar-Rahmaan for the purpose of the one who seeks His worship,
    help and guidance.
He is alone in being able to bestow all of that.
There is no one who can aid others in Allaah’s worship besides Allaah and none can guide (to the Straight Path) except Him.
Then the caller realises with the speech of Allaah:
Guide us to the Straight Path,
his extreme need for this (guidance).
He is never in need of any other thing as much as he is for this guidance.
He is need of it in every moment and at every glance of the eye...
...Then Allaah makes it clear that the people of this Guidance are those who have been specified with His favour,
not those upon whom is His anger,
and they are the ones who know the Truth but do not follow it and not of those who are astray,
and they are those who worship Allaah without knowledge.
Both of these groups share with each other in speaking about His creation,
His command and His Names and Attributes without knowledge.
The path of those upon whom is His favour and blessing is different from that of the people of falsehood with respect to knowledge and action.
When he finishes from this praise, supplication and tawheed he has been ordered to end it with ‘aameen’ which is a seal to (to his supplication) and with which the aameen of the angels in the sky coincides.
This aameen is from the beautification of the prayer,
just like the raising of the hands is a beautification of the prayer,
    a following of the sunnah,
veneration of the command of Allaah, worship by the hands and a sign of the transition from one pillar (of the prayer) to another.

      1. Say this 3 times for immense reward:
      سُبْحـانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْـدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْـقِه ، وَرِضـا نَفْسِـه ، وَزِنَـةَ عَـرْشِـه ، وَمِـدادَ كَلِمـاتِـه
Subhan-Allahi Wa bihamdihi, ‘adada khalqihi, wa rida-a nafsihi, wa zinata ‘arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi
(Glory and praise be to Allah, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, as much as the weight of His Throne, equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise).”
      (Muslim)
      2. It was narrated that Abu Umaamah said: “The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.”
      (An Nasa'i and Ibn Hibban)
      3. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet ﷺ (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He who says,
      سُبْحـانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْـدِهِ
      ‘Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi‘
(Glory and praise be to Allah) one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the sea.
      (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
      4. Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:“There are two statements that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scales, and beloved to the Most Merciful:
      سُبحَانَ اللّهِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ ،
      سُبحَانَ اللّهِ الْعَظِيم
      Subahana Allahi wa bihamdihi,
      Subhana Allahi Al-`Atheem
(Glory and praise be to Allah,
Glorified is Allah, the Most Great.)”
      (Al-Bukhari)
      5. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: He who repeats after every prayer:
      سبحان الله
Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times,
      الحمدلله
Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times,
      لله اكبر
      Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest) thirty-three times;
      and completes the hundred with:
      لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ
      وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ،
      لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ،
      وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ‏
      La ilaha illallah,
      wahdahu la sharika lahu,
      lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu,
wa Huwa `ala kulli shai’in qadir
(There is no true god except Allah.
He is One and He has no partner.
      His is the sovereignty and
      His is the praise,
      And He is Omnipotent)
Will have all his sins pardoned
even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.”
      (Muslim)
      6. Zaid ibn Harithah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ(peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whosoever says:
      أسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ الَّذِي لا إلَهَ إلا هُوَ الحَيُّ القَيُومُ وَأتُوبُ إلَيهِ
‘Astaghfirullaha al-`Atheem al-ladhi la ilaha illa howa Al-Hayy al-Qayyum wa atubu illayh
(I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent, than Whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I turn to Him in repentance,) his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield
(while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah, which is a grave sin in Islam).
(Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani)
      7. Whoever reads Surah Ikhlas ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise. ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, “If that’s the case, then we will increase in our palaces!” The Prophet ﷺ (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) responded, “Allah is better and greater (in reward).”
      [Ahmad]
      8. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, it will act as a light/protection for him from one Friday to the next.
      [Bayhaqi]
      9. Whoever performs their ablution carefully and then affirms (their faith by testifying):
      أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
      اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ
“Ash-hadu an laa ilaha il Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu; Allahumma-ja’lni min at-tawaabeen waj-a’lni min al-mutatahireen”:
‘I testify that there is no true deity except Allah Alone, Who has no partners, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His slave and Messenger; O Allah, make me from those who repent and purify themselves’ - the eight gates of Jannah are opened for him so he may enter through whichever of these gates he desires.
      [Tirmidhi]
      10. Allah has promised whoever says:
      رضيت بالله ربا وبالاسلام دينا
وبمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم نبيا
“Radheetu billahi Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi Muhammad Nabiyya”
‘I am pleased with Allah as my Lord,
and with Islam as my Religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet,’
three times every morning or evening,
will be pleased on the day of resurrection
      [Ahmad]
      11. Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times
      اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ
      Allahumma inni as’aluk al-Jannah,
      Then Paradise will say:
“O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!”
And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times
      اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّار
      Allahumma ajirni min an-Nar,
      The Fire will say:
“O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!”
      [Tirmidhi]
      12. Whoever is easy-going, gentle and kind, Allah will make the fire forbidden for him.
      [Hakim]
      13. In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when (other) people are asleep.
      [Ahmad]
      14. Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a soorah of the Qur’an, with thirty verses, that interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is ‘Soorah Tabaarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion)’ [al-Mulk 67:1].”

So if you don't pray and you die and you didn't pray because of your phone or your computer or TV you're possibly going to hell for eternity. And still some people will read this thinking they have years ahead of them to change and they won't pray. Ask Allah to give you strength. If He doesn't give you the strength to pray you won't be able to.

Actually kind of glad I left Islam after hear that. Yeah I have no probably admiting that the last time I prayed Salat was over a year ago. But when a person's iman and trust and hope in Allah is destroyed and distorted by mental illnesses, they have a hard time wanting to pray. Can't force someone to do Salat or practice Islam if they no longer have a want or even drive to do so. And if these "scholars" have the arrogance and ego to tell someone "You aren't a real muslim because you don't do your 5 prayers" or "You were never a muslim to begin with because you didn't do Islam the exact way it has to be done.". Telling a person who is struggling with mental illness like depression, autism, ADHD, or Schizophrenia(I have all 4) that will make some think "Wow, The Ummah don't care about me or even sees me as one of their own because I have problems and tells me that I'm a kafir. Screw it I'll just leave then.". Easy to say "Just do it, Pray Salat". Anyone can just say a couple words. Some things are easier said then done. Here is a sad truth no muslim wants to realize and accept. Some people leave Islam because of how they were treated by other muslims. Prayers rather they are Salat or Dua is something that is between a person and Allah. No one else. Rather they do it or not is up to them, Not the orders of the judgemental eyes of the ummah and other muslims.

"a person who purposely leaves their prayer", I advise you to ask God for guidance if you do believe in a God.

Allah does not test a soul more then they can bear. You can pray while sitting down, lying down and standing. Do not leave off your connection with Allah because of your problems do not allow shaytaan to whisper and deceive you through that. Try your best and strive. Is it fair that Allah does numerous things for you and he commands you to pray and you say its because of your problems so you wont pray? After everything he does and continues to do? Be grateful and express that through prayer. Prayer in these times for you is especially important for you, its your light and anchor. I went through depression too but I held onto my prayer and alhamdulilah I’m good now. Prayer should be a relief to you not a burden. Allah tells the prophet to seek help through prayer and patience. This is a test for you. Don’t leave after difficulty has reached you for none can remove it except Allah. Ask for his guidance and patience. May you be guided.

@@bagzhansadvakassov1093 I've been schooled enough by muslims who are thinking they are helping. Just makes me hate it all more cause I start to realize some can't even understand mental illnesses and what mine did to me.

"But when a person's iman and trust and hope in Allah is destroyed and distorted by mental illnesses" I am not sure what can cause that but you should find a respectful, knowledgeable scholar who is willing to help you. I may not have the answers and I am no scholar, but what doubts surface in your brain?
Realize the reason salah has been made mandatory is for our benefit. You might not have caught the explanation she gives because you were put on the defensive right away. The salah is indeed like medicine because the only one who can grant relief and peace is Allah. It also helps you be conscious of the short amount of time we will live this life for and for what purpose we are here. Otherwise the immorality and worries of the world can be overwhelming. We may not like hardships as humans, but true bonds are strengthened through dealing with hardship and fake ones are damaged. (For example, a couple who marries before they have established financial independence and their degrees and all that will face hardship, but they will also probably experience a greater appreciation for one another than afterwards, then if they had been independent before marriage.) If you recited the salah, you are aware of what you're saying, you seek Allah's help and you seek to pray in a timely manner, then you will be conscious of Allah throughout the day and you will be aware of things that otherwise might not be apparent. One personal example is upon learning Ibless admits he will have no power of Allah's righteous servants. If I submit my will perfectly to Allah and I do my best there is nothing Ibless can do to me. Therefore he will target my family and soon before I establish more and more Iman. Because of society we are often so ungrateful to Allah. Let me give you an example. A person gave you a mansion full of gold and entertainment with no conditions, how grateful would we be? Forget calling 5 times a day, we would probably call 10 or more times so long as we know they would appreciate hearing from us. Now imagine if you had to trade both of your eyes and have nothing to visualize with for that reward. This cannot be repaired through any treatment. Would you take it? And Allah (SWT) has given us much more than eyes, he has given us existence and a chance to be among the most honored of his creation, as well designing a place of enjoyment for us. 5 minute phone calls 5 times a day would be under an hour. If you only did compulsory, reciting with the meaning and without hurry, it would take under an hour. Not to mention the benefits of dua and how Allah even appreciates that we ask of Him? Who else would appreciate us always asking, particularly after we have been rude/rebellious? Even our parents have limits and they are close to an "unconditional love".
This hadith should give you hope: Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said that one amongst the denizens of Hell who had led a life of ease and plenty amongst the people of the world would be made to dip in Fire only once on the Day of Resurrection and then it would be said to him: O, son of Adam, did you find any comfort, did you happen to get any material blessing? He would say: By Allah, no, my Lord. And then that person from amongst the persons of the world be brought who had led the most miserable life (in the world) from amongst the inmates of Paradise. and he would be made to dip once in Paradise and it would be said to him. 0, son of Adam, did you face, any hardship? Or had any distress fallen to your lot? And he would say: By Allah, no,0 my Lord, never did I face any hardship or experience any distress. - Sahih Muslim 2807
A lot of experiences in life feel very stressful and impossible but once the event has passed it seems that event was quite bearable. Especially as a new event is likely to take its place. However, a lot of experiences that I couldn't understand that benefits of at the time lead me to who I am now. We may not always understand, but hardship is really an opportunity for us to draw closer and make our bonds stronger. As well as to derive lessons from sometimes. This life is perhaps 100 years if you live long, not necessarily quality by the time you get very old. What's that compared to 1000 years? 10000? 1 million? Life will feel like it's passed in a flash and then there will be only eternity as time is a creation. Remember or learn about the logical reasons why the promise of your lord is true. All suffering and hardship can be recompensed by the one who made us. For example, we will be given new bodies in Jannah. If I had lost a limb because someone desired to harm me and they were able to do so by the permission of Allah, it doesn't mean there won't be consequences or recompensation (both by justice and by reward for patience and endurance).
I may not have schizophrenia but I am constantly having to fight bad thoughts from being verbalized into my mind sometimes, particularly when I am upset. Sometimes I thought why won't Allah grant me more than a few moments before I am attacked again. Even when I know the reasoning why. It is waswasa playing on the part of me that feels frustrated. However, there is a hadith I remembered recently. When you ask for the help of Allah, you do all you can then you put your faith in Allah. I was putting in effort but there were additional things I could have done, such as walked away from that situation and cried out of desperation. Allah did give me relief when I felt I couldn't help but be angry at Allah for not helping enough. However, Allah also would have helped me if I had cried out of desperation and in servitude to Him. Sometimes Allah prolongs help as a means to test us, or for some other benefit (Imagine you tried to go for a job interview but your car broke down, and your interviewer had a terrible day and wouldn't have accepted you until the day you came for your interview. We can't always understand how situations develop). Remember: Allahu Akbar! Even if all of Ibless and his army tried to get me to disbelief, if my Rabb aided me against their efforts it would be enough. Therefore ask Allah frequently and know Allah loves it when you ask of him. Learn more from Islamic content and be quick to repent when you fall short. Assalamualaikum WaRahmatullahi waBarakatuh
