nahh adults fr lose their MINDS when a kid would rather stay home and draw instead of constantly going to some overstimulating loud ahh place for 8 hours 😭😭

16:00 I felt this in my very soul. People in mascots/costumes terrified me when I was younger, and still to this day do I religiously avoid them 👌😀

Sounds like my great aunt who couldn't get over that I was 21 and she thought I was mentally 12 just because I am learning disabled. I really didn't like visiting that woman and she was scary. Though her neighbor Mr. Kenda was actually nice, he was also a Homicide detective which I did not find out until I saw him on TV. Small world, kind of glad he doesn't remember me at all

I remember a similar thing happening when my mom took my brother and I to Olympia. We were probably about 8 and 12 anlt the time, and I mostly just remember him being scared that he would be arrested because wore a hat inside lol

like anytime my mom leaves to go somewhere and she’s running a little bit late to come back I will start sobbing

I don’t know how to explain it but I think I know what the flushing problem was.
The chain that pulls the thing in the back that makes the water flush likely came undone or broke off of where it’s attached. Just a guess, but if so then it wasn’t even your fault, it’s just a thing that happens over time.
It’d be a simple fix or 15 dollars for a replacement part if she did it herself. But judging by your story she likely didn’t, but that’s on her.

I’ve been to a very similar kids museum, I think owned by the same company. But it’s in Virginia, maybe I’m childish but my first time there I was 11, last visit 13 and it was fun as hell. I understand why you didn’t enjoy it but I swear my teen self saw it as heaven. Even though everyone else there was no older then 4

I used to go with my aunt and uncle every summer, and sometimes during spring break too. LET ME SHARE THE TRAUMAAAAAA!! so once, i was in home depot with my uncle and his wife, and i was pushing the cart (please note, i am an autistic schizophrenic adult, and i was an autistic schizophrenic tween when this happened, with really REALLY bad depth perception and anxiety). we stopped to go down an isle, and then my aunt started moving, so ofc, i did too. my uncle suddenly got in front of the cart, and pushed it into me (i dont think it was on purpose, he put his hand out, and it bounced into my stomach). he later told me that i got too close to her, but my memory is that i was close to three feet away from her.
he also made me cry over not knowing to pour the ice out of my cup, because that must have been horrible.
weirdly my gma (who is legally blind) is worse lol. ive lived with her for close to 14 years, and i only just started realizing how toxic she is. i am not allowed to go on walks (im an adult), i'm not allowed to go anywhere without my older sister, i can't say no (i actually did once, bc i was dealing with the after effects of a sleeping pill from having to wake up really early for school, and went to take a nap after school, which i normally did, and she kept getting me up, and when i said i just wanted a nap, she said, "i dont give a shit what you want", and when i said no to her it was later, and she wanted me to get up and do something, and i said, no. when i woke up, she told me in a livid tone that i dont get to tell her no. i was an adult. i said no bc i couldnt focus my eyes.), i can't read anything that she doesn't like, she likes to guilt trip me into stopping all of my plans, and manipulates me emotionally. (i was with my half sister (important bc i've known her for close to 5 years and have only seen her 2 times), and i came home a couple hours late bc there was an issue with her baby, and when i got back, she sat me down and told me i was making a fool out of her on purpose, and that she doesn't want to hear that i'm sorry, bc it doesn't mean anything anymore.
ive only yelled at her a few times in my life, and the last time, it was bc she kept yelling at me bc i forgot to take boxes from my room out to the garbage, but i had told her i'd wait until i was done cleaning bc there WILL be more. she started yelling about how, "You said you'd take these out! "ILL DO IT RN GMA, ILL DO IT RN GMA!" and i yelled that was sorry (im sure she yells to overstimulate me into yelling so that she can tell me i dont get to yell at her.), and she told me when i came back in that i don't get to yell at her bc IM the one with the problem.
she also, TW TW TW sighs at me when i relapse on the mental illness behaviors, and acts like i'm the worst person alive.
She also does this thing that, to be honest, i can actually understand, but she does it when i'm already overstimulated and actively ready to bite someone in the face, and its that when she asks me to do things every two seconds, i tend to get a little short with her (or anyone who does this, actually) bc she actually DOES know what she wants me to do for a lot of the day, but she likes to space them out for some reason? but i started to say, "ok grandma thank you!" and she went to, "YOURE SO WELCOME! I'M HERE ALL WEEK! I LIVE TO PLEASE! I LOVE YOU!" and when i was desperately trying to keep my cool bc idk why, but that actually makes me want to deglove my hands (it's so overstimulating when people do that to me that i actually feel my teeth start to itch), i said, "please stop", and she goes, "OH BUT DON'T YOU LOVE IT? I LOVE YOU! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!" and i kept telling her to stop, and when she didn't, i had to isolate bc i was about to yell like i've never done before. idk why she does that, when she knows, bc i have TOLD her that it actually makes bad moods and big feelings worse.
