Great breakdown. I'd have to agree that shooting on film just isn't that worth it despite the great outcomes. I currently use the X100V with cinebloom and it can create almost the same look without the costs and tediousness of film.

@@MIKESUNDAY Yea I post some photo dumps on my personal IG. I'm currently on the 20% cinebloom but looking to get the 10% to see how that plays out. Goal is to try to get my photos close to Hamada Hideaki's (my personal goat haha).
hiii i’ve purchased a contax t2 and it isn’t here yet it’s been rigorously thoroughly tested for functionality however i’m worried what if there are light leaks etc or some problem if i develop film with it is it possible if a camera is fully 100% functional and been tested for integrity but it could be faulty while developing film?
@@MIKESUNDAY yes, but I feel like the hype is justified, it really is a great camera and gives a great shooting experience, if there is any way of getting one below current market price, its a no brainer in my humble opinion
I always love the film look but man it’s such an expensive hobby to get into! 🥲 I usually just shoot my iPhone photos in raw and try to edit them closely to the film look haha
