they should really start selling dvds of broadway shows. especually for the people who just won't be able to watch the show. so many people want to watch, but can't because of location and finances and other things. there's proshot footage and i am willing to pay please

mazie no, then it would go out of business, but you are allowed to see every musical once in the New York public library, they keep records and recordings so when revivals come up, then you can watch them :)

Maybe someone could figure out a way that if you watch a certain musical the money you paid that month would go to that company( kinda like Hamilton ish)? And the company could shave off some of the money and put it back into the musicals ( if they are still touring/on Broadway. )Idk just a thought

Saw this on Broadway and was blown away by the cast, set, and costumes. I originally only went to see it because of Ramin Karimloo (and he did not disappoint), but the entire production exceeded my expectations. AMAZING SHOW!

And even then, it's doubtful. All Broadway shows are filmed for records.

I love how similar the musical compared to the movie is. like omg the dress Anya wears to the ballet looks exactly what I imagined it to look like if it was recreated in real life so well done
Even though I never saw Anastasia, I really like,"Once upon a December". I hope my first experience with it is with the musical.
kelly almazo this musical was based off the movie Anastasia which can out in the 90's. I highly suggest it it's my all time favorite film.

Saw it in previews just before it opened. My first time seeing a musical on Broadway AND it had my favorite actor in it. Amazing experience!

Saw this on Broadway the second to last show and it was AMAZING. I also saw it in Philadelphia and it was great as well. Anastasia has always been one of my favorite movies and I love the history and music.

I got to see this last week (7/7/17) and it was absolutely astounding. I grew up with the movie and the writers, director, actors, and crew made it their own! it was absolutely amazing.

I went to Anastasia couple of time all rush tickets. I have to fall in line around 6-7am until box office open at 10am. Tickets for rush is only $20-$50. sometimes you get orchestra seats if you're lucky. I went also on the closing performance. it was epic! That's the only time I paid full price just to go see it for the last time.
Ramin was a total badass villain absolutely perfect he was awesome in phantom perfect in love never dies incredible in les miz and insane in Anastasia

This was literally my FAVORITE movie growing up. When I heard it was going on broadway, the tickets were still really cheap. I begged my mom to go see it, but of course, she said no. Well, looks like I won't be seeing it like, ever. Theres a sad story.

A website called Stagedork. It's the Hartford production though, not the Broadway one. The songs, lyrics, and scenes are slightly different.

Super Spyro7956 Rasputin isn't in it. There is a new villain played by Ramin Karimloo named Gleb. They took Rasputin out so it would be more historically accurate.

Yes Rasputin was real, but he wasn't a twisted evil dark sorcerer (not to mention an undead one), and he wasn't responsible for the Romanovs' murder (he did predict that it would happen though).
What role does Ramin play?
It is a new character instead of Rasputin, his character wasn't in the animated movie

Umm yeah but he is not exactly a villain, he is definitely a more realistic character, a grey personality instead of either black or white :D

I'm confused so I watched Anastasia online and right after "in a crowd of thousands" they didn't kiss but at 1:25 it shows they did
Stefanie F They dont kiss in this video. They cut away before they pull apart and he bows. They did the editing to make you think they kiss
