I get so sad when I think about what Namjoon has been through these past few years.
He has received multiple disses from other rappers, he has received death threats, he gets called out for his dancing skills, he’s been told to leave bangtan (even though bangtan was created because of him), and he’s being called misogynistic by people pretending to be fans, there’s so much that he’s been through.
He’s the type to think about things too much and it gets to the point where he’s trapped in bad thoughts and can’t get out.
Very Often, I’m really worried for him.

I really think that the concept of this era (Love Yourself) is not only a message for ARMYs to start loving themselves- it's a journey for BTS to truly love themselves as they are.
"Self love is the greatest middle finger of all time." Those words really get to me for some reason. He's always been the type to worry so, so much about whether or not he's good enough. He really shouldn't have to ask these questions, he's perfect for his perfections and imperfections. It's a shame people are bringing him down :/
I love RM so much, not just because he is my bias, but because he’s so truthful, amazing, inspiring, strong, passionate and courageous to be able to be where he is today, and along side BTS. He is without a doubt unappreciated by many. Some who call themselves ‘armies’ and say he’s the ‘ugliest’ or the ‘worst’ member, or people who fail to Acknowledge how much of an amazing person he is at heart and at mind. He helped me so much, and get through so much because of how amazing he is, hence why he is my forever bias.
It hurts not just me, but other RM Biasers and other Armies when he’s called such horrible things, when RM acknowledges such horrible things, receives death threats, isn’t noticed, isn’t classed as a member (despite him being the one who technically created BTS).
RM is a true man, and he should be respected as much as Jimin, Jin, Jhope, Jungkook, Suga and V, because he is just as human as they are. No more, no less. I wish that people would recognise him more for everything he has done, and everything he will do in the future, as after all. Without Kim Namjoon, would there necessarily be BTS, or the BTS that we know today?

It makes me sad to think how hard these guys’ lives really are. Sure, they have fun all the time. But they also need to work hard in order to please the fans, and they receive lots of hate while they’re at it. They also receive just as much love from the ARMYs. *I* can’t imagine just trying my best to be good at something but still be told I’m not good enough or that I’m terrible. The worst part about it is that the hate is from people you don’t even know, it’s people who are hiding behind a screen.

Im not a kpop fan, (I was but now I hate kpop) but I was scrolling through the vids and I saw this, ( I was an army) and I remembered namjoon from bts, although im not a kpop stan anymore and although im not an army anymore, I still feel so sorry for namjoon, he deserves the world, and he has been through alot of pain, yet he still smiles for his fans, please appreciate this man's hard work

I used to hate myself too!! By used to I mean I'm recovering from 1-2 days ago. But because of that self-hate and what others have said to me, I started cutting but thankfully stopped after telling close friends and family. Please don't make the same mistake as me, don't cut, cutting is beyond the line.
After I told my mum about the cutting you know what she told me?
"You have to pass tough and painful times to see where it might lead you in the future. But you will never be able to go anywhere near the future lying in a grave" so I got myself together and listened to more of Bangtans advice. Namjoon's "I can hurt myself just to protect my Co-members and ARMYs" statement really concerns me. I sometimes forget how bad he thinks of himself because he rarely shows it and acts all calm and collected. I hate it how he knows how to tell people ways and sayings to deal with hating themselves and yet fail to do it himself. I know he's smart enough to know that haters are only dragging him down but, even when you know something as that, those mean words still will stick to you like glue. I, myself, know how this might feel and it's horrible enough for me to feel this with just few people; I can't imagine how Namjoon feels being attacked and hated on by thousands of haters and fake fans. I hope fake fans or even real fans that somehow hate Namjoon or other members remember Taehyung asking fans to love them all equally. If you can't love them equally, you shouldn't isolate a member or members just because you like the other/s more. A real fan wouldn't isolate a member and treat them with respect, fans should know how hard it is to receive hate from many people just for being who they are.
