Hey! I'm a russian RUclips creator, made lots of guides for russian rust audience. Your videos are amazing, really like them. Could you allow me to translate some of your videos for russian people? I would use your video track and overlay my own voice. Of course, I am ready to link to the original video and redirect the English-speaking audience to it.
i made a cavebase on a monthly server which is 18 hqm door to raid from the bucket side and 8 hqm walls from the other side, it's wayyyy stronger than any base you can build at the surface
Sewer caves are so good! No one ever builds in them it's amazing. I forgot I built in one and logged in to realize my HQM run out in my TC and my entrance decayed open. Wasn't even looted haha.
I appreciate the time people take to help inform myself and others regarding additional features or tips not included within the video. Considering the video would be up for years to come and watched by new players, taking an extra week to revamp the video based on community feedback is well worth it.
For those interested the caves in 4:24 is one of the best ways to stay protected. You can start off with an armored wall and make it a 50 rocket+ raid on just one side.
Caves are good for solos but they are boring to live in. Suicide drops make it much easier to bank loot. I recommend creating smaller bases near monuments you want to frequent and have some basic gear in them. Once the loot gets to a good level then bank it in the cave base and repeat.
Bunch of years ago, I had a friend who spent literally an entire play session, allegedly several hours, trying to drop down and get back up to take out someone's base. He never succeeded. I know it's possible, but it still surprises me that your chances to get back up aren't tied to the duration of the fall. They've patched out every single bucket exploit I've seen so far (though the snowmobile is a new one to me), except that one.
@@AddDemCritz Not with fall damage. Just get a load of bags and food/water set up, keep trying at max health etc, you'll stand up pretty soon. If you're a solo, you can leave your body with the raiding materials at the top of the bucket drop so you can ride up, loot it quickly and ride the bucket back down.
it's actaully not too hard to exploit. In a similar way that if you fall but before hitting the ground if you hit something that slows your descent you won't take damage, you can fall and hit the side of one of the rocks and get down with no damage. This is why it is recommended to have a turret facing your bucket drop.
I was pretty excited when I saw the small cave with auto turrets. I thought you had a better way of getting long distance power to it before I saw the generators :( I guess I'll have to try out the hot swapping with large batteries though. Probably my best bet considering my terrain is terrible for wiring.
A bit of a hassle but the only way to do it is to make a small base above your cave nearby. And just use that base to keep charging like 2 large batteries. Have 4 large batteries in total so while you have 2 down in your cave powering your turret, the other 2 can charge in your base above ground. And then keep switching them around. It's annoying but the only way I could make having a turret in a cave work
@@dolfln2932 depends on what you have but without charge I'd say about a day and it also tells you how much charge is left when giving power. You could also try storing multiple generators' power (with root combiners) in a battery to make it last longer to give the surface batteries more time to charge
i probably shouldn't share this but if you set fps to 1 and fall down the hole you won't take any fall damage 50% of the time depending on fall angle, you can also have a friend stand on your head making it a 100% success rate
At 20:32 I have a section dedicated to power generation. You will primarily use the small generator with low grade and batteries to power your electronics.
great vid in 7k hoours never seen a large hard not even on build severs would be cool to have a 50 man in it tho :) BTW TRAP cave small (or double cave as we call it is the move and the right cave has power
Cheers and yeah that large cave was incredibly hard to find. Out of the hundreds of servers I searched, I couldn't find a single one. Only after a mate said he saw one on his server I yoinked the seed to record it.
i know its alot more expensive, but half walls + triangle floors are ur BEST FRIEND in a cave base. i only use triangle pieces when building my caves. n my caves are super, super expensive to raid, almost making it impossible to profit since im a solo.

i hate cave base and hope they remove the privilage to build inside, couse this ruined all the small server, everyone build the suicide way, and last time took me 60 rockets and 30 c4 to get in, on a normal vanilla server, even when i get inside i got no joy. Don't tell me the cave base is fair for solo vs large group, just be a man and play above the gound!

Finally a youtuber showed the easiest way to get power in a cave 21:33. nice Video !!!
19:12 you can also use a sleeping bag and a drop box. same security as a wall but easyer to reload.

Always, always bunker wall for entrances in caves, even back door, keeps it nice and safe!
I really like the graphic at 1:19, but I think you should include the amount of items that spawn.
I agree. Showing as much information as possible is always better. I will try to add the amount received for the items in the future.
Hands down the best tutorials for new players. I'm not so new now, but when I was these helped me out a lot. TY

@G7x Problem is getting offlined. Nothing you can do to stop that except insanely annoyingly armored honeycombed caves.

Just go with max food & water I can guarantee you will get up within 2-3 tries max
Does the the large med kit in toolbar still work? i remember if you had one in ur toolbar and got downed you had like a 100% chance to get back up

This is wat more detail then the previos videi

you should also make video on missions of fishing village and etc.
