What a priceless time and you got a decent dump of snow to wake up to. I loved watching this, beautiful land enjoyed in good spirits, truly priceless. Stay well.
The great thing is you and your friends are having fun while camping. This is the first video I've see where you were down right tuckered. Great views and video, keep it up
Dude, you're a beast carrying 50 up 2500 feet. Hats off. Great overnight. All your hiking partners should know when they go with you it will be some unexpected adventure.
It's a short but tough climb. I did it with ~60 on my back with my two young kids this summer. It's rough, straight up at times, but it's over in under two hours hours.

Welcome back to WV! I love North Fork Mountain. One of the best campsites is at the intersection of Redman Run & North Fork Mtn trail. Good site and spectacular views. No water, but you guys already know that part. I truly hate going down on that northern end; it is an absolutely endless knee killer.
Wow! The view was amazing and the high definition of your camera was very much appreciated! Never seen anything like that mountain range, a sea of mountains, so bizarre. Thanks for the trip!
Thanks for the trip review we were looking for a quick winter trip in the region and this looks like it would be the perfect 1 night trip just to get out during the winter.
What amazing views. You were way to close to the edge for me, I think. It looked sketchy. As you mentioned yourself, who knows what it looked like underneath where you were standing. What a surprise to wake up to snow. As you were talking about heading down the mountain, I noticed they weren’t in any hurry to be the “scout”. Then you took command and went down first to their relief. Anyway that’s what it seemed like to me. I think that snow was a blessing, in that steep as it was, it made it easier to go down than the rocky terrain. That was very enjoyable. I know the views are never as good as being there, but they were pretty spectacular. Cheeseburger time was definitely earned. Thanks and stay safe til the next one.
Dude your videos are sick. After watching them for a month I've finally made the decision to hike Mt. Washington in August and then hopefully do a winter summit this time next year. Thanks and keep them coming!
I love all of the snowy adventure videos! It's been making me get out more myself. We're getting 2-5" of snow here in Pittsburgh tonight. Might just hang the hammock in the backyard and enjoy it after watching this video!
I thought this old lady was gonna have to go start that fire for you guys there for a miniute. All that stuff and you forgot the charcoal lighters fluid! All the videos our family has watched, I didn't realize you had equipment that was that heavy. And I forgot about the Cannock. Great trip! Happy camping!

I did the entire trail last year and i highly, highly recommend it. Non-stop vistas. The only water source is a spring at the halfway point. It’s awesome to see video of it with snow. Thanks!

I'm surprised y'all didn't stay another day that was some awesome snow Lol plenty of water there now Lol anyways I still regret not doing this hike when I was down there last year but I would of had to skip something else so it's one of them things I guess, can't do everything on every trip unfortunately
It's over rated, i can't wait to see what grass looks like again. But it won't be anytime soon because we have another 12 inches on the way Monday night into Tuesday morning, just adding to the crusty dense snowpack that started on Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and 8 more times after that. We had 3 days of relatively warm weather in upper 30's and rain since Christmas that knocked the snowpack down by 50% then back to cold weather setting the snow pack up like Italian Ice. The only good thing about this winter is we've had quite a few sunny days and fairly mild temperatures for winter 15°F to 28°F. It's been nice not having to deal with single digits but one or two nights, and no negative temperatures at all. Right now where at 68 inches so far for the year, and have a average yearly snowfall of 120 inches. I for one wouldn't be mad if we didn't hit are average yearly total lol. All thanks to Lake Erie the Lake effect snow, snow making machine!
