- I set out to scramble up Boulder Colorado's famous Second Flatiron in my Luna Origen Flaco sandals. I was highly impressed with the grip and comfort of these sandals all the way up the 650 foot face.
It's amazing that you're wearing sandals and climbing the rocky mountain.

The oso, middle bear 🐻 and oso flaco are lunas trail sandals
I wore a pair of monos with performance laces on 26 ADK high peak climbs. Only a few required scrambling but the Lunas held up every time. The one point of failure you should be aware of is where the thong connects to the sandle base; mine pulled through after about 2 years of daily use.
Not recommended for long treks if you aren't used to barefoot/minimalist walking and hiking, but if you are comfortable with minimalist shoes they are worth the money.

I had a bad experience climbing the 2nd on a icy evening last fall, never again will I do it on cold night. Almost got stuck half way up due to all the ice.. haha
Yikes! I tried to climb it with a friend on a cold morning (no ice) a month ago and we both got the shakes about 30' up and decided to come down. Some days that rock is SO GOOD and some days it wants nothing to do with me. Glad you made it up/back safely!
I loved Co. Wish you made more videos. You would probably pick up a decent following if you uploaded regularly. But if you're to busy I understand.
I've thought the same thing, Duck. At the moment I"m not too busy and I've always felt motivated to make videos when I was too busy, haha. We'll see what becomes of this latest wave of motivation. Thanks for the encouragement!
Glad to seer your back watch the moisture when climbing here for the first few weeks tell we hear up and dry out the rock likes to flake off in sheets sometimes right under the moss. Make another vid like an update vid plz
