It’s cool to see them all on stage together, but their performances. all sucked. Felix had a moment to play something great, he played a bunch of rubbish. I find it pretty astonishing that we just seen six professional guitar players botch a 12 bar blues. Except for the dude all in black in the middle not sure who that is but he was pretty cool. The guy next to him that was closing his eyes acting like he was feeling it but played garbage.
Come on, Felix's solo used the esoteric harmonic elevator scale - like only the third time anyone has ever played that scale on a stage. This was history in the making, dude.
JS and EJ are both 68 yrs old if you split the difference so you aren't going to get their best. SV is 63...so you aren't going to get what they were in their prime. With that said, EJ has a softer tone than JS (whom SV learned from) and SV. When it comes down to it, EJ is the best guitar player on that stage. He and SRV are the best ever IMO.
