yep earned my sub for being so badass. swapped out to argo pods and saved the loadout but had to do an insurance claim and it swapped them back to misc bags. =/
Yea there are issues right now. I had a server error and lost mine. Try doing the same process and then storing the ship at another location as well after you do all the BS. Aside from that... Hell if I have to do it once a week to have a 48 prospector I'm still doing it. The waste in my hangar isn't going anywhere
Guap. I used the Argo ATLS to pull the bags out of the hanger floor. It's got that "grab" mechanic, and when properly positioned, it'll rip the ore bags right out of the floor (without all the extra boxes). Just the tip brother... I didn't go deep ;)

So those MOLE bags are identical in dimensions but CIG merely changed the number for ore capacity? That's kinda lame if true as I really thought those bags were actually physically larger than the ones on the Prospector. Or are the MOLE bags longer than the Prospector ones? If so, here's hoping that CIG will keep allowing this swap and that the stock Prospector simply has smaller bags by default or something. :)

Then again, if I remember correctly, when the MOLE was first released it had 8SCU bags and then CIG 'increased' them but did nothing to change the bags themselves. Maybe that's also why it's (still) so easy to swap them out. Personally I'm also suspecting that the Prospector will never get those extra sets of bags and that 4x8 will be the default with no spares; so I hope we will still be able to swap them out for the 'larger' MOLE bags; even once (if) the game is fully released as every little bit of extra space will help. ;)

There may or may not a secret shell Company operating on the RSI website. Discord is the best way to be around like minded miners and industrialists though 530+ strong.
This has been a thing for patches. Its all about the server you are on, shard whatever, and I think overall server health. Fly away from the cluster to another one, then fly back. That usually works, if its a large cluster coast slow through the middle of it, IF you fly like 15 away and come back and they dont wake up, you really have no options but to server swap with a bed log and see if you can find a better server. Thats why I tell people to try to get as many people on their friends list as possible.

When it hits preview it will be the same as now, after a few days or a week we will start seeing the ghost rocks once again, it has to do with the servers not spawning them in at the correct time, it doesn't affect asteroids as much or if ever since 4.0 hit wave 1. It was just delayed.
@ I meant I not U, I have seen this on the preview server but for me it's been really good like the last 2 patches for me. 3 patches ago I could not find a rock to mine because every rock I pinged was a ghost.
You and I are one in the same. I have taken off my Left joystick since I ripped the Wires out of my right VKB during my move. Before that, when I was streaming the game had wiped my binds, and after going 6 months or so without using the stick, I dont remember them and did not feel like relearning it all WHILE streaming. right now im using a GNX SEM module from VKB trying to get back to using it while mining.
@@Elguapoe I have the vkb metal stick, the omni throttle, and the GNX SEM myself. sadly I tried to update teh firmware on the little module thing that you get if you run it not chained into a stick, and it no longer works correctly, tried to revert but it fails to revert the firmware (they were unable to help me). as its out of warranty I need to reorder the darn module thing. so my advice is never try to update the firmware on that dang thing. xD
you should all try using joy to key. I just gave a small donation because it is free software. It allows you to set keyboard binds for all of the buttons that way you only have to set you axis in game should Windows messes with your control inputs. You can set as many controllers you have and up to 128 keybinds on each. Been using this for 8 years and it has been great with my Virpil Hotas and button boxes
you don't need to take it so seriously. and i often listen while i do something boring in star citizen same time. so i really like that someone put effort to sound side too. but not everything is for everyone i guess....

missing this game so much but i lost my joystick bindings and i cant seem to finish setting them up again withou wanting to kill meself
