Love the bike and the changes are awesome. One question though, do you always squid it? lol would love to see more with the bike. Wish I had done my bike test years ago, I'm quite a bit older than you and stuck with my 125 for a while now. First ever bike after selling my beautiful 98' BMW E36 328i Sport, decided to go two wheels for a new form of fun. Also the GTR is my fav car right now, you are one lucky young man :)

SaucyClips The latest YZF R1 is only 0.1 seconds quicker 0-60mph than the latest Standard GTR so yes the GTR could beat it, reactions are what will make the difference, it will beat many other Supersport bikes.
A tuned GTR will beat the crap out of most to 60 but after that will be interesting idk the numbers other than the 0-60.
If you then get a race spec Supersort bike then it might be very different, but then put it against an F1 car then the bikes have no chance as long as the car gets the power down.
It would be a fun video still as his R1 is almost stock and his GTR is tuned to around 650+ bhp.
He should do it, I will be happy to drive the GTR for him while he rides the bike :)
Setting aside the tuning bullshit, if you compare even my 2009 Yamaha R1 to a 2016 GT-R, the 0-60 times are identical at 2.9 seconds and the quarter mile for my R1 is 10.1 seconds and the GT-R at 11 seconds flat.
Also, it is worth mentioning that the figures that I placed for the GT-R are for the NISMO version with 600bhp. With the standard GT-R, rated at 550bhp, the 0-60 is 3.6 seconds and the quarter mile at 11.7 seconds.
Bottom-line, Liter SuperSport bikes will annihilate almost every car in a 0-60 test and with the quarter mile, forget about it haha. The only stock production car that can compete with Liter SuperSport bikes in the quarter mile is the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, which has a quarter mile time around 9.5 seconds and yet there are Liter bikes with quicker quarter mile times than that that are 100% stock.

ASV clutch & brake levers, the best levers money can buy
Get some carbon on there< will look so good with the black. Can get a chain guard to get rid of the flimzy standard one currently on there, along with a rear hugger and you can get the front piece of the tank in carbon as well looks so nice. ASV levers would be a good touch as well and eventually get some black gilles adjustable rearsets as like you said you want it to be subtle and gold will just be in your face sort of affect.
Quickshifter.. keep the the throttle wide open and just bang up the gears. 😎

RSC stunt clutch lever, it comes in 3 different sizes and has magical powers so its really easy to pull

Use clutch to change gears unless you over 9k rpm. Keep your fingers covering the clutch and front break, anything can happen when you need to slam the breaks

My dad have a R1 with the same exhaust and it`s sounds even better in person. You really should change the blinkers and mirrors(Bar end)

If its titanium pipe, ride untill the pipe change colour. btw, im quite surprise that even when you still setting up the mic, your mic barely catch minimal wind noise, even in high speed.
Nice exhaust sound, but giving it some full throttle will only make five-O your new best friend. Do some track day footage.
You should get rizoma levers..they are the best I've had so far..You also should change your side mirror...get a bar end mirror or just a normal rizoma side mirror
Watch out with the integrated tail light - you'll fail an MOT as you need a 'sufficient' distance between indicators. Such BS, but thought I'd better say.
Recognise most roads in this video. If you go up the road on the right @ 11:03 you would have found an awesome tunnel :)
Be REALLY careful man. I just played the video in slow motion and the latest frame before you cut the shot showed 78mph in a 60mph. Don't want you to get caught out at all, but that's a hefty fine and of course the evidence is right in front of us. Awesome bike though! :D

I don't know if it's the exhaust or microphone... sounds decent at idle, but when you revved it sounded like a 300cc. I've seen R1s that sounded good but from this clip I like the sound of the R6 better.

Are those indicators legal in the uk? most people don't know what they are.
Nathan Knight Nope. There's a minimum distance (apart) that they have to be. Most police won't stop you for it. They will fail an MOT if the tester is picky about it though. Most people get away with it though.
