The scene of them jumping off the building looked incredible 🤯
They look amazing for sure. Certain angles look like their heads are slightly larger than the rest of their body but it's most likely the angles. Not sure if they're worth the $400 bucks that's a lot not going to lie, but if you can afford it and a big tmnt fan I'm sure its worth it.

These are probably one of my biggest "collector" regrets... The pre-order dropped in January last year when I was making a conscious New Year's Resolution decision to only buy things that were on a list of Grails I prepared. I never expected these...

These figures are incredible man. My reaction to opening and inspecting them was identical to the opening of this video. I just knew I was holding something special that is at the top of the game related to collectibles. So happy I bought it. I was waiting for your review Hatter! Thanks for giving us your review.

Included illustrations show some effects that are not included in any tray, a little frustrating as I thought mine was incomplete, but after watching this, you have exactly what I have. Back of box does not show “missing” effects either. Black and white illustrations sheet show a few things that are not even included as far as the weapons effects go. 🤷♂️
What I like about these turtles is… they actually look like they would be teenagers.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the original promo pics did not do this set the justice it deserves. These look awesome.
They look amazing, slightly mad at myself for passing. But I still think they should have got all red mask option, especially if they all have three heads! That sculpt is just so OG Mirage, the lack of all red is why I passed. Still, love the sculpt and if they were still available at retail price I’d be tempted to pull the trigger now. All you Flipors can go flip yourselves!
That brown clip they all come with goes on the belt so you can hang the grapple hook on all of their belts, also the loop on the back is for Raph’s Tonfa and there should be 2 loops near the front for his sai
The headsculpts and accessories look very good. I own many Mezco too, I don’t quite hype the company as many do on here lol.
The price put me off plus given I own so many NECA and Super7. I am not mega crazy on the bodies with these but take so much delight in Hatters enjoyment and that’s all that matters!
They remind me a lot of how Neca handled the Gargoyles line, going for more a realistic look than being true to the source material. For the most part it looks good but Leo's face wrinkles make him either look really old, or he just ate a lemon.
It would have been neat if they had optional red headbands for them.
The after market is crazy at the moment on these. But big retailers haven’t gotten their stock yet. So we’ll see.
I'm normally a fan of Raphael and Mikey, but I'd have to agree, this Donnie is incredible! That smirk is *chef's kiss*
it's subjective if it's the best version but I would agree they have the best accessories. Especially that trenchcoat. I would love to see all 4 in trench coat

I just got mine today and they really are great...easily my favorite set to date. One thing that disappointed me though is that my Donatello is missing his elbow pad 😣 (sigh)
People keep acting like price is crazy. I mean it’s a lot but compared to any standard mezco that’s around 100$ a piece and comes with less accessories. Not you specifically just everyone online about how expensive they are when I’d say they are relatively cheap.
Has to be peoole that don't regularly collect Mezco. Any collector that follows Mezco products should have realistic expectations about the price knowing that a single figure can rage $90-$120. $200 for 4 mezco figures with a buttload of accessories is a pipe dream. Regardless, now people that didn't think $400 was worth it have to dish out way more than $400 if they want to own them.

Hopefully they release them again they are the best 👌 at least, a good bootleg version like the 08 neca figs I would be satisfied.

I'm looking on aliexpress for extra heads for these turtles so i can paint the bandanas red. I know it comes with extra heads but i don't want to give any of them up.....
They look great! That price point is too crazy for me though, I guess I’ll just have to wait for the re-release of the Neca Mirage turtles.

Hatter , stupendous video man. There is a reason in Johnnys Haul-A-thon video I do not mention(comment section) any Tmnt as a want. These are it. No shade on Neca or anyone else but this rendering of the Turtle Bros has never existed (pricy but worth it.) In Anthonys video I called this set a 🎁 to fans. Outside of personal taste in design (for some) this release delivers. From kunai😉 to soft goods a master piece 🥲 I appreciate the Gillette reference. The flight stand pros were a 'she said.✌️

I guess its all personal opinion but ( for me ) the Neca first Movie turtles are the best ever. I dont own these but have inspected these in person and although awesome i totally could see me selling these down the road. I feel the big price persuades people to believe theyre the best . Top spot has to be priced right and at $100 a pop isnt right at all.
I actually agree. I had these on pre order but cancelled. One the price didn't seem right but two and more importantly I really didn't have any connection to this depiction of the Turtles. The Neca Movie/cartoon Turtles on the other hand are my bread and butter, it's what I grew up on and to me they are the best. At the end of the day it's all in the eye of the beholder.
This set represents my childhood in a box! Got them on pre order but will have to wait a lot longer as im in the UK...hopefully have them by the end of the month.🤞 Great video!

By the way, best turtles representation!, without a doubt the toys of the year, I hope Mezco continues with a complete line, we deserve something like this, as Mondo was doing with their turtles.
The 5D chest move would've been to give Raph 4 heads, so all the turtles could have red bandanas (assuming the heads are easily swappable). Keep. hoping to see someone swap the other turtle heads with Raph's to achieve that look.

Yeah for OG realistic-looking turtles I'd say those are looking pretty good my favorite right now is the Ronin series through NECA but I've been an OG fan since the black and white comics as a kid and I was wearing the black ninja shoes with the brown bottoms and then a couple years later I turned 13 get me a old fashioned paper route and my first check I lived in Escondido California and we had a Toys r Us across the street from get that check went over there and bought me every Ninja turtle they had I had the whole series have so many different style turtles myself those look pretty good but mezco is a little out of my price range

You could join the waitlist and hope to get lucky. Takes like a year or so, but I've hit twice that way. Good luck 👍
I think mezco is only allowed to reissue their rumble society figures but licensed properties are usually one run

They do not restock. They may release a variant, or possibly sell the turtles individually, but there is no guarantee of that.
