So just a few feet from where you parked and you find targets ,that is soo cool , and to top it all off you get to see the outback , you are blessed and I loved the video, thank you for your hard work
Thanks, Zak. We are very lucky to be living a life we love and to share it with you. Our aim is to inspire people to get out there and give it a go 💛🇦🇺
Nice video Mark and Crissy. Some gold is better than none Mark. You two are living your dream! Keep the great videos and gold detecting going! I do not have a Minelab detector, and I am not going after gold. Mostly relics. Have a White’s GPX Sport. It does what I want for now. But a Minelab is on my wishlist.
These videos the two of you share are really a lot of fun. Seeing your excitement as you go in for the dig and expose each new piece is really cool. Now find a BIG piece !!!
I found a bag of 60 XL nuggets once ... and the joy it brought to my heart was uplifting, to say the least !! sadly tho they were only "chicken nuggets" ... I forgot I had bought them and put them in my freezer ... hey ho !
I found i was copying settings from videos that others have used on there GM1000 AND I had heaps of false targets and was frustrating at the least. I read the ground a bit better now and understand a bit more. I have noticed that some targets think are rubbish don't even have been boot scraped that's why i go over that sort of ground. As the saying goes you never know until you do it. Nice video as always thank you for sharing.
The best settings are always the ones that work for you. We've had plenty of targets that sound like rubbish that turn out to be gold. Dig them all 💛🍀⛏
Hello again , Its great to view another video from you folks ! It's nice to see you two in an upbeat mode . Your info. is great for us and others and thank you . We both have hope that you find those kilos , Mel & Donna .

I love watching your channel and your adventures. Thankfully I can find gold locally. Maybe one day I will make it out to the outback to explore some of these areas you live in. Nice pieces of gold. Hopefully tomorrow is another big one for you both... Good Luck & Happy Swingin'
Love the vids guys. Thanks for including the settings info. I just bought a QED detector but will hire another GPZ for my bro-in-law. Finally found my first nuggie last trip out with the Z so now have a 0.17gm to test with :D keep up the great videos guys. Good luck out there.
@@OutbackGoldFever I appreciate your efforts and the area you are in. I enjoy the desert scenery and both of you digging. I have no idea if the gold pays off monetarily but keep going. I hope you make lots of money and find more than your share of gold.

Great channel! Lots of fun to watch! As a new GPZ owner its very helpful to hear what your hearing on targets. Also thanks for talking settings that work for you! Question- the fabric wrap on your GPZ- can you give a link? Heavy pans from Alaska!
And most of them were clear signals. It was a pretty large area and there will still be gold for the next person when we leave 👍 Thanks for watching Dennis and Donna
Thanks again Mark and Krissy! My favourite videos were where you were prospecting in river gulleys and your commentary of how the gold had ended up there. More difficult terrain but more interesting than the flat areas. I know you've said you keep records of where you find the gold - which gives more gold - flat or gulley?
We love the hilly country for sure, gives you an area where to start looking. The flats here in WA are just so vast and finding alluvial areas is allot of walking, seems easier in the hills as your always wondering whats on the other side 👍
I loved the smiles, detecting tips, and creatures in this one! Is this public or private land? Do you need a permit in Australia? Maybe talk about the regulations in a future video. My favorite channel, keep up the great vibes and content!
Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. We are on public land most of the time. Because Western Australia relies on mining for economic survival it has the best system in Australia for the prospector. 👍⛏
You Guy's are obviously doing it right, your finding gold where plenty of others have already detected, sorry Mark, but when I heard that screaming target I'm thinking trash, keep the great video's coming
Walked away from many a screaming target in the past, figured I'm unlikely to find a kilo piece if i continue doing that. At least we'll get 10 cents now if its a can 👍
We have not detected those sandy areas with any conviction. I might in the future. I was moving from one area to another just walking with the detector and picked up a nice 3 gram bit, just below the surface. Pic on out last video. If we ever see your blue car we will stop to say hello.
It certainly pays to detect from the car and all the way back. The poor woman with the blue fj in kalgoorlie is probably getting a few waves from prospectors 🤣 Give us a hoy on the uhf anyway if you see us 👍
Thanks for the vid and sharing your settings. The problem with swinging too fast is that you lose a lot of sensitivity. So I'm curious do you guys use Patch Locate when patch hunting?

Is it possible to have the same technology just it only reacts to gold?
Unfortunately not, detectors that have iron discrimination don't work 100% on gold.
also if you can't identify something inaturalist is a great species flora and fauna and mushroom and avian identifier its an app for your smart phone
