It's ability causes those who make physical contact with it to worship it as a god or deity. It is possible to outrun the bird, but this often leads to being no-clipped into the ground. Verdict is still out as to wether no-clipping is a part of it's ability set, or done by the back rooms itself to assist Jerry. As The Backrooms may very well too - be afflicted by Jerry's Indoctrination.
This makes a lot of sense, if you think about it... 682 seems to immediately find the bird annoying, but "acceptable". Then, he eventually becomes very concerned with impressing or making a good impression on Jerry. He also notes how he finds it odd, but he just shrugs it off as one of the few beings he can "tolerate". There's nothing special about Jerry, he's just a bird that followed him around. If he had an ability that makes people worship him, it'd explain why he's hanging around 682. He's been trying to get him to come to his lair this whole time, but 682's will ang agenda are too powerful to override. This may even interest Jerry, ironically enough.

As soon as he spawned in he would immediately be attacked by the horde of entities that chase visitors to that level.... which SCP 682 would begin mercilessly slaughtering without delay. As the bodies piled up and SCP 682 continued to hold his ground, entity parts flying, I think the entities would soon figure it out and start running *in the opposite direction* making possible the exploration of the other half of this backrooms level.
The fact that Jerrys existance us "aceptable" makes me think that bird is extremely dangerous... Imagine being able to survive the hard to kill reptile, hell, to be allowed to survive and travel with him
Jerry actually has a cult of worshippers in the Backrooms. He seems to be all but omnipotent when it comes to defending himself/traveling. His only true effect that he often has on people is that they slowly begin to like, then love, and then worship him.

As a back room purist, this is the first time I have found the many levels of the back rooms to be interesting. I couldn’t sit through normal back room videos explaining all the levels.. I genuinely find them fascinating on their own but the eerie wonder of level 0 is what makes the back rooms what it is..

It would be really cool if it could be sent to level 999 too. It makes you remember all of your most regretful sins and the only way to leave the level is by repenting of your sins. Another interesting level that SCP-682 could go to is the shady gray. It is extremely dangerous and maybe it could eventually die in Lost Hope. It would also be funny to see it in “Level !” will the SCP run or fight back for the first time in the story of “Level !”? There are just so many possibilities with this SCP. Great video btw!

I think one way SCP-682 could be contained in the backrooms is by using liquid pain. It is not a really strong acid, but it can be damaging. Also, what would happen if SCP-682 drank almond water? Would it finally become sane? And if not, what if it drank SUPER almond water?
682 isn’t insane. It just absolutely loathes humanity. And HCl isn’t enough to actually contain 682, it just finds being bathed in one of the strongest acids humanity has ever discovered to be preferable to human contact.

They launched a counter invasion into oblivion that made the daedra shut down anything in their land, if it wasn’t for the fact those lizards are really a fairly shapeless hive mind, I wouldn’t have believed it myself but yeah just figure out how to bribe a tree and keep a gate open and they’ll deal with it. Although the idea of those tree taking over oblivion might just make things worse but by white streaks wrath would it be funny.

If anything, the Backrooms shit is barely testing him to the point this a walk in the park. The only thing that's even really effecting him is the psychological and that doesn't even last long.

They have a special "Qlipoth Supression" system that can make creatures of the same (or even higher) threat than 682 controllable, however they can still breach. IF 682 were to be supressed by this Qlipoth, and they managed to obtain equipment, how powerful would it be? It seems that SCP 682, from what I see in your story, have extra abilities from the "official" description of it. Maybe I missed some infos on him but I did not know that he could copy abilities from other entities. Otherwise, the encounter with suburbs watchers would definitively be the end of him.

I have suggestion to you why you don not make Channels that are dubbed in other countries' languages, like what Dr Bob and the SCP Foundation did, will make your RUclips algorithm popular in every country according to the channel's language. because I found Dr Bob's channel through my country language channel (Indonesia) for people who can't or don't speak English, it will definitely be difficult when they have to watch and read subtitles from videos at once

Exactly my thoughts. The section on level 11+ was placed before the initial meeting with Jerry, and was frankly confusing.

There IS a way to destroy it so it is not impossible, but the only things which we know are capable is the method which SCP-001, AK-9 devised (which being as that computer is effectively omniscient, could be anything) and SCP-2935 O’ Death (which is the ultimate form of hyperdeath that also killed an Omni dimensional entity powerful enough to delete the entirety of the backrooms with an abstract thought). It has survived thaumaturgical magics, the inside of the Sun (in the SCP universe, which is a lot deadlier than our actual sun), the heat death of the Universe (multiple times), reality warping nonsense on the scale humans can’t really comprehend, and the universe itself just saying “no”.
For all intents and purposes, he’s invincible to anything but Death itself.

It seems that SCP 682, from what I see in your story, have extra abilities from the "official" description of it. Maybe I missed some infos on him but I did not know that he could copy abilities from other entities. Otherwise, the encounter with suburbs watchers would definitively be the end of him.
That’s one of the main reasons the foundation doesn’t use reality benders against it they are terrified of the idea of it getting reality bending ability’s

I have suggestion to you why you don not make Channels that are dubbed in other countries' languages, like what Dr Bob and the SCP Foundation did, will make your RUclips algorithm popular in every country according to the channel's language. because I found Dr Bob's channel through my country language channel (Indonesia) for people who can't or don't speak English, it will definitely be difficult when they have to watch and read subtitles from videos at once

Alright, I know how to defeat SCP-682 and it IS NOT ME TOUCHING HIM, we put him in the clock works and put it on coarse, then if it doesnt fully destroy him do it again and again. Hopefully this works and it doesnt make a containment breach happen.
