I have the same issue in my 12, it goes on and off. Did you find out of the Tahoe part works for half the price?
Following for the result
Go on Rock Auto. They have the Silverado sensor for $108. They were randomly cheaper than everyone else. Same part number 590-206.
I have a 2012 also and I just ignore it it goes away
It popped up once on my 2012 Silverado. I turned the truck off and turned it on again and haven't seen it since. Gonna pull my sensors in a few to see if they're actually defective.

Frank, you can feel if it has that crack under the sticker without actually removing the sensor. Might save you some time. The threads on that bolt are a mile long.

Talk about part store markups. If you weren’t in a rush you could have ordered it from RockAuto and saved yourself $38.02! That’s including shipping to Texas (: I love RockAuto, they’ve literally saved me over eight hundred dollars just over the last two years restoring my truck 👍🏼

nice video, while getting recall completed this week the GMC's service manager told me it could cost me $1500 to fix airbag light if both sensors are bad. lol

I have always hated the plastic skid plates on the newer trucks. I have an old 1990 Z71 and it has metal skid plates from the factory. The newer trucks need a steel skid plate upgrade.

Mark where do they have a skid plate I could buy for the newer Chevy one .
ERIC Thompson the lift kits come with skid plates. You could contact BDS or rough country they might sell them.
I just found steel skid plates on eBay for 07-13 Chevy trucks 1/2 tons
I replaced the one on the driver side but went ahead and replaced both, if one goes out....the other one is close by behind. My Silverado is a 2006 and it was my 1st time having this issue.
A problem that happened to me on my 08 Silverado was I hit a pot hole and the airbags deployed. Truck was 4 years old when this happened so no warranty but thank god for insurance.
Oh jeeze... that's no fun.
That has to be the cleanest undercarriage for a truck that age!

That plastic peace you took off your 07 Silverado. Do they make a skid plate for that area ? My 2020 trial boss has the same one . Any place I could get a metal or aluminum on ?

I have a 2010 but haven't had that problem yet... Would you recommend checking them out and making sure the bolts aren't too tight or something to try and prevent the problem?

I thought anything that has to do with airbags is covered lifetime. My 2000 Honda Civic had an airbag light on, took it to Honda last year and they fixed it for free.
The SRS or Supplemental Restraint System is generally covered only under the manufacturers limited warranty, because it's "supplemental" & not primary. The seatbelts are the primary restraint & have a lifetime warranty. Possibly your Honda was repaired under the Takata recall program which generously covers alot of the airbag system components

When you disconnected the sensors did you disconnect the battery?
Is there rust on the rear fenders yet? If so could you do a DIY how to fix or prevent how to get it worse
Wash your bed sides out and fluid film between the box.
I know it has nothing to do with this video, but what's going on with the charger? Thought that was leaving and you were getting something different? Like an 2013 ZL1 camaro 😁

Mine does that from time to time, it should go away I just ignore it.. I think they faulty cause I know a buddy that os the same issue
Does the 07 have the active fuel management and if so have you disabled that and switched out the displacement on demand lifters? I have that issue on my 08 and had it disabled around 100k miles when I bought the truck but the damage was done the truck actually dropped a lifter around 120K and thank God I had a warranty or i would have had to shell out $2500 for repairs.
The engine is swapped out of another truck w/o the AFM (fortunately)
Hi, I just got the service tire monitor system on my 12 Silverado, to my understanding it means too much air, or too little air on the wheels, does it mean I either have to release some air or add some??? Is either that or one of the sensors is bad, please help!
long time ago you posted this, but i just came across it. Service tire monitor does not come up for under or overinflated tires, just your tire pressure warning light will come on. Service tire monitor probably is a bad sensor, usually won't be able to relearn that tire or multiple. So if you've done the relearn process and had no issue then i'm not sure what it could be, but if you find yourself inflating or deflating a tire for too long and unable to complete the process that sensor is probably shot.

LONESTAR HAWAIIAN I just found out the resistor went out I bought another one off of amazon it was 20$. If or when yours goes out I can send you the link of where I ordered mine if you want. I still love the look of my tail lights.
These sensors are cheaply made so I wouldn't be tossing them around at all. Just saying...
