Its crazy how a video from 5 years ago is helping me understand this topic for my geometry assessment more than my notes...
Ikr?! I am using this video as a last minute study help for a test cause my textbook does not teach me right.

Thank you I’ve watched this for 11 hours straight doing a grade 10 math test your awesome thanks for the video this helped a lot. you did way more in 15 minutes then my teacher did in her whole course.
We appreciate as students for your help this is really helpful for us you're doing good job we Thanksgiving for you.

@@MariosMathTutoring thank you so much, Your a really helpful person and god bless you
U SAVED ME I HAD A MATH TEST TOMMOROW UR THE BEST
Glad my video helped you Mer Mumtaz! Good luck on your test!

Thank you, my teacher isn’t the best so it’s nice to have you
You’re welcome Justin! Glad my videos are helping you!
i feel like teachers often get it wrong when teaching these equations. they always go cubes (square) first, and it unravels into nuance from there. it'd be simple if they taught you triangles first IMO. reason being, you cant simply multiply two sides to figure out its perimeter like you can with a square. always created confusion when i was younger.
just wanted to say you are saving my grades right now man, I really appreciate the videos.
You’re welcome Josh! Glad to hear my videos are helping you!
Same, I was struggle so much to learn these and I have a test tom on it 😥
@@MoonGirl-my4zn Hope it went well for you.
@@joshtreola968 It did, I also have number patterns and Finaical maths, but I think I am getting about 86% for it so good
Thank you for teaching me the math my teacher never told me this whole school year. Now I won't fail my geometry EOC
You’re welcome Grace! Good luck on your EOC!
Dang it’s kinda funny how a teacher from a RUclips video explains it way better then a real teacher I appreciate this 😂
Thank you so much for your videos my kids enjoy you teaching methods!
+Javier Navarro your welcome! Thanks for letting me know. I'm glad my videos are helping them.-Mario
bro you are a life saver i wish you were my math teacher
thank you for actually being a good teacher
I get it.... i watched 3/4 of the video.. but i watched it full because my math teacher suddenly gave my classes the same vid. and i was like... "Oh ok i guess we're watching this again..."
Thank u for teaching me your amazing !🎉even my math teacher can’t make me understand 😅
This video is probably one of the best tutorials I've ever watched! And while it earned a safe spot among the best shortcuts, I still do have a bedeviling problem that should be prioritized!
It all about the formulas u stated;
General Formulas for Prisms and Cylinders
V = Bh, S.A= 2B + pH
I spotted a cube-like shape as well as a regular cuboid there
My teacher says, that the surface area of a cube is 6 times its length, and when I relate this formula with urs, I do come across with different results.
By solving this question with both formulas, I think you'll get what I am talking about
A CUBE HAS A LENGTH 5CM, CAL.
1) IT'S SURFACE AREA
2) LENGTH OF DIAGONAL
3) VOLUME
PS.
Surface Area of a Cube - 6X² ( 6 times its length)
Length of Diagonal - X√3 (where x= length)
Volume - X³ (where x = length)
this is the best video to help you review on what you learnt at school thanks!
So I see a few people are on the same stuff as well hope you got a good mark bud
Jesus Christ man you really saved my skin
Sophisticeted it involves everything .
Uve been quite a help this uear heading into my honors geometry final
Glad my videos have been helping you Gavin!
It is crazy how a 5 year ago mathematics helps me
Oh my goodness, finally, I get it. Your video was amazing. I watched it several times to make sure I took good notes. Sometimes it takes the right teacher and you were certainly the right one. Thank you.
You’re welcome! Glad my video helped you!
Exactly according to me search 🙂😁🙂😁🙂😁

Youre so talented!!! IN A 16 MINUTE VIDEO I LEARNED WHAT MY TEACHER COULDNT TEACH IN MORE THAN 3 WEEKS! Thank you so much.
Glad I could help!
This will help me soo much on my math test tommorow
Ok great! Good luck tomorrow! Report back if you want and let us all know how you did!
Mario's Math Tutoring I GOT AN A! 😁😁😁
Awesome! Great job!
I almost failed 5th grade so I'm rlly trying to not get behind in middle school so this is kinda like a virtual summer school for me 😂
Thank you so much for this, very very helpful!!! i appreciate your videos so much. thank you for taking time our of your life to help others succeed.
You are so welcome!
the second part where you kept jumping between the two questions instead of focusing on completing one (even jumping between steps during solving) got a little confusing, esp since you were going fast, but luckily its relatively simple and was able to understand. Otherwise, great video! Much appreciated mate :]
Great video! I had one question though: I had a question on bluebook practice test #4 that utilizes a different formula for the surface area of a rectangular prism (#21 on the hard math section, the question being "Two identical rectangular prisms each have a height of 90 cm. The base of each prism is a square, and the surface area of each prism is K cm^2. If the prisms are glued together along a square base, the resulting prism has a surface area of 92/47 k cm^2. What is the side length, in cm, of each square base?"
Additionally, will I also have to know other versions of alternate surface area formulas? Thanks in advance.
Mario knows math
Your the best man
Excellent teaching............love from INDIA 🇮🇳 🇮🇳 🇮🇳 🇮🇳
i have a math test in like an hour thank you for this
I had not paid attention to geometry; Let alone this was in my sophomore year of high school. In the 2009-10 school year. This would have been a good video to have seen earlier as I had difficulty to find surface areas for a calc 1 quiz that had a question worth 18 points. All the quizzes in that class is out of 25 points.
I got given the first group and I could rember those, but I struggled so much to learn the other 3 so I thank you for grouping two of them
Thank you so much my test is in a few hours and i went through this video just before and literally helped me so much thank youuuu❤
YOUR BEST MATH TEACHER ❤❤ this is better Than my School tutoring they Only Give Us 3:50pm -11:38pm

A live saver
my teacher explaining this for a week, and I still don't get it. This 16 mins video is all it took.
Super video! I applauded for ₱1,250.00 👏👏👏👏
Thank you, this video made it so much easier for me
You’re welcome Thomas!
13:56 omg I was right! I was right about it being surface area!
160,000 students are gratefull!
13:12 The answer for volume was square instead of cubed, why didn’t Mario write S.A. (surface area) instead of V?
pretty sure he miswrote, he meant surface area.
I have my geometry test today and I need 90+ grade to pass the course wish me luck :(
Ad: Are the videos from 2002 really helping?
Me: Yes they are!
Thank the Lord the beautiful man was made because without him I would not have done so good in geo
I appreciate you SO MUCH Mr. Mario thanks so much! 🙂❤️
You are a help to the world! Thank you!
i watched this video too late a failed the test
so do i really need to memorize the formulas cause it seems like a lot
Super video! I applauded for ₱250.00 👏👏👏
wow helped me pass my very hard geometry unit!
Can you TELL what do the CSA AND TSA MEAN ?
if it square cannot be supported the other side become triangle
But don't we have to put base and height only when it is a triangle
Finally understand what we were doing the past month
ITIS AMAZING HOW A VIDEO HELIPING ME AFTER 7 YEARS AGO
Hi
So the answer is 113.1 u3 ?
Thank you
Chinese teachers can’t teach learn more seeing this 20 minute video than the semester
Glad my video helped you learn these math concepts quickly!
It is study for my test again ain’t trying to fail again hope I pass if I pass thank you
Mario u should make a math book ur good at teaching this
if its square remove the up cover become pyramid
if its triangle move to the other side become cylinder
ty for your effort now I am gonna get my maths marks high
i have a test in 20 min. absolute life saver
woah verified batch now.
if its pyramid remove two side each become cone
this video taught how to do this in 16 minutes... my math teacher couldn't even do it in 3 days, thank you for this amazing video!
this helped me so much my math grades are soooooo low
I have my eoc in two days I hope I pass thank you
Perimeter times height is sooo much faster than what I've been taught! Thanks!
You're welcome!
Thanks bro I really cannot express this teaching of yours, it really simplified version understand the explanation and
how you put them. Bro continue you are
doing a great job.💯💯💯💯❤️👍

loved this video!! it rlly helped me to understand the topic in a better way, thank u a lot
Glad it helped!
Tomorrow is my math test and I’m grateful you were able to get me to remember the formulas
You’re welcome Navi! Glad my video helped you!
Nice, but man how to calculate the surface area when the cylinder is open on one base or on both bases
You can just subtract off the one or two circle areas depending on if it’s open on one end or both….hope that helps
i have a math test tomorrow and this helped so much thank you
You’re welcome Mia! Good luck on your test!
My name is Jani, I'm a 9th grade student (India)

You’re welcome!
Thank you so much this helped so much
bro seriously, why don't you explain why on god's green you didn't use the 5, seeing how it's part of the triangle
Using this to study for my test 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you so much omg. I take online school and this stuff is confusing im not really good at teaching myself now I get it thank you :)
thank u so much sir for making this video and clarification.
You are most welcome
anyone from geometry 8? w vid
if its remove two sides become sphere
2x speed, intellectuals only
My eoc is tomorrow this helped too much thank you hope I get a 3
Good luck!
On the V of the triangle prism tobget the area of the triangle how do you know for sure which leg of the triangle is the base and height if there isn't a right triangle?
Thank You for helping me Mr.Mario I am doing geometry it is based on my Math GED I am working and trying make very good grades. It helps me to improve.😀🙂
sir, I would like to inform you how much help you are, I would have been dead without this, thank you Mr.Mario.
what is the different between area , total surface area and surface area?
you are.... er jonny s. right?
Thanks for helping! May I know at 15:54 how exactly did you (3)3 because I don’t see how the three suddenly appeared there
I don't know if this will help you now but, the big 3 is the r shown in the formula and the little 3 is just cubed. Which gives him 27. (Sorry if you didn't need help anymore.)
mario u cooked with this one
you are awesome man .... many thanks
You’re welcome Dina! Glad you liked the video!
