I love all of Jessie's books and it is hard for me to pick a favorite. The one I am reading or listening to at the time is my favorite. Thanks Jay for increasing our joy.
Wow. This book was incredible. More than I could have hoped for! The characters and their personal growth over the length of this book was amazing. I loved seeing Ivory come out of her shell, all the different work they got done together, Chandler finding something more than he expected, and the experiences with sweet RaeAnne. I can’t wait to read Deacon’s story! Dyess audios are always so soothing. I hadn't listened to an audio in a decade before I started listening to these. Then, last week I listened to an audio by a different reader and I was so disappointed. I kept thinking about how the reader's voice inflections weren't true to the book and how the voices weren't as distinct and how I got lost a few times. It made me so much more thankful for Dyess and his superb reading ability and his innate way of connecting with the characters and bringing them and their situations to life. And this one? Gutted. Dyess can just twist your heart by speaking the words Gussman has strung together. I love when Dyess sings. That is something special about his audios
I think listening to your books has saved my marriage One of my coworkers told me about them I listen to the first one not believing. And it work I change the way I talk to my wife and the way I listen to her. Thank you so much for the wonderful book. I appreciate them
I'm glad this one didn't have random quotes at the start of each chapter like some of the others do. That really gets in the way of the flow of the story.
From a non-neurotypical person, thank you. I felt the diner scene. This book is a masterpiece in my opinion. If Ivory is based on an actual person then that person is a superhero.
4:39:08 Wow, Jay 😮⭐🌙 that's definitely my bedtime song for to day. In Germany (from where I'm listening) it is already 8:00 PM. I'll go to sleep around 9:20. Hopefully I can dream this story as a movie. 😉 Thanks for singing.
This is my third listen this is an awesome book. It’s hard to put into words exactly how these books make one feel I know I can always turn to your books and feel blessed. Thank you.
Jessie what I love about your novels is that love is not a respecter of person, you just have to be willing to be open and receive. Who would of thought to different personality and different backgrounds would compliment each other, I'm glad Chandler and Ivory fell in love and are getting married 🥰 😍 ❤️ I love how Jay makes it sound so real and homey, thank you Jay 🙂 P.S Jessie your novels gives me hope that one day I'll meet my one and only love ❤️ God bless you both always 🙏🏾 ❤️
Chandler has allowed Miss Lynette to auction him off to work for a month, locally, instead of being back in Hollywood for that time period. Hmm.... This is going to be interesting.I am enjoying listening to Jay Dyess read once again.
I loved this story. Ivory was classy. I’m glad she worked hard to not be like her parents. I’m also glad that God worked in her heart and changed it from stone to full of love! By the way, what are the 6 brothers names? I’m getting confused. Are there 2 different Preston’s in different series?
Hi Coach - very glad you liked it! For the brothers' names, it's (in book order) Clark, Chandler, Deacon, Loyal, Zane, and Reid. Andrew Coleman and Preston Harding are the other two male leads in the series. Also, yes, there is another Preston (Emerson) in the Heartland series (Heartland Faith, book 9)!
You're absolutely right. My brain was obviously taking a vacation when I wrote that. I've dug enough fence holes that I ought to know better. Thanks for pointing it out. : )
Loved the turns and twists in this one. Jay did an awesome job getting the emotions coming thru.
I agree - Jay pulls the emotions out without ever over-acting. Just perfect!
Thank you, Beverly!
I love all of Jessie's books and it is hard for me to pick a favorite. The one I am reading or listening to at the time is my favorite. Thanks Jay for increasing our joy.

I am loving this series but I promise you the song that he sang to Rayann while she was on Ivory's lap brought tears to my eyes...thx Jay!!

That's wonderful news that God worked through our audiobooks this way (and I'm sure I can speak for Jessie that 100% of the credit goes to the Lord)!
I'm glad this one didn't have random quotes at the start of each chapter like some of the others do. That really gets in the way of the flow of the story.
I'm glad you liked it, Gabrielle.

Thanks, William - that's all Jessie! I agree though - that diner scene is just so amazing (I think the whole book is 🙂)!

@@SaywithJay The end of chapter 3 and beginning of chapter 4 had me laughing so hard. lol You're so good at narrating!!

Thank you, Jojo! The singing was all Jessie's idea, but I'll admit that it worked out OK. 😁

It will be Kate, I promise! This is one of my favorites, not just in the series, but in all of Jessie's books!
Congratulations to Jessie and Jay on this latest video release!! 🎉🎉
Nice! Thank you
You're very welcome, Katrina!
Enjoyed this-even though I knew all along where the money came from! (I was glad to find out I was right once I got to the epilogue. )
Thank you, Terri - I'm very happy you enjoyed it!
My second time listening was just as enjoyable as the first time. 🙂
Excellent! Thank you, Ge!
I think RUclips needs to add a Second Time Like Button. 😁

I like the title of this book.
The rest is pretty good, too! 😁
If you are curious about this audiobook. Check this out!
Thank you, Janice! I hope you enjoyed it!
I’m no farmer but I am sure the fence posts would be at least afoot or 18 inches deep!!
You're absolutely right. My brain was obviously taking a vacation when I wrote that. I've dug enough fence holes that I ought to know better. Thanks for pointing it out. : )
I'll admit that the last time I dug post holes, the last few were probably closer to 8" than 18"! That's tough work!
By the way, who gave her that money ...?
