The fact that this guy played all original songs at the finals blew me away. Writing, composing and playing such incredible songs can be done only by a musical genius . I’m so happy that he had the courage to share his talent with the world despite his insecurity. I’m sure we will see him everywhere soon.

The dude plays from his heart. He used to play in front of the record store where we used to all hang out growing up in Claremont. He went to the folk music center and did a duet with Ben Harper. He's saying that his passion is making music not about the bling. He'll go far and not burn out like a lot of these pop stars do. The industry is cut throat and mpre about image than talent. He was smart and going on tour right away and focusing on his music than the status of being on American Idol. Real musicians who actually make it are a dying breed and its tough to make these days even if you play your heart out.

I like this kid. I hadnt watched american idol in years, but i watched this past season because of him. i never voted even when i watched , but i did for this kid, as much as i could. i { like most} like that hes so humble, but im concerned for his fear of flying issues. flying is an integral part of any performers career. and yes i know there are those that have the fobia and have managed to succeed, but i can count those with the fingers on my hand. well, if its meant to be... wish him luck all the way.

I love that he doesn't care about making money but he just wants to play music he's a very good person and I think he will have a good career helping others with money he gets is perfect. A lot of people who get famous don't help people enough for example I heard that on stage when Carrie Underwood performed in the finale she was wearing a million dollar ring I mean that much money could have helped a lot of people that are living on the streets children starving in other countries and people who can't afford to go to the doctor. His character really shows that he is a good person very genuine he loves music not money ❤
