Good day to all . Thanks a lot My friend Zee for creating this video and really appreciated your work and trying to help the people with information. I would like add few things to the information which Zee mentioned in this video , Like she said its a time consuming process (approx 2 years now with covid even more ) . Let me tell everyone from my experience am a foreign Nurse who studied and worked in INDIA and moved to South Africa in 2016 , I started my South African process in mid 2013 ( if am not wrong ) . The formalities which i gone through are the below mentioned one 1. We need to submit all our documents ( like from Birth certificate, schooling certificates , Nursing certificate, transcripts etc ) for assessment and as Zee mentioned SAQA compares our (foreign) curriculum with SA curriculum and then give the outcome based on the NQF Level . 2. After obtaining SAQA we need to apply for NATIONAL DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH ENDORSEMENT CERTIFICATE from department of Health SA . 3. Once we have these above mentioned certificate the main process starts with SOUTH AFRICAN NURSING COUNCIL (SANC) after we submitt all the documents to SANC they assess our application and if its successful we will recieve 3 Coloured documents from Sanc ( Yellow document , Pink document and white document) ☆ Yellow document needs to be filled by our NURSING institution and need to send directly to SANC via post . ☆ Pink document the APPLICANT needs to fill it up and send to SANC ☆ White document needs to be filled by the NURSING COUNCIL were the applicant is registered and currently practicing. Once all the documents reaches SANC and after they go through the documents and if its all good then they allocate us the date and time for SANC exam ( Foreign Nurses registration exam ) only conducted twice a year in May and November. Once you successfully clear the exam you are gonna registered under SANC and then find a employer and start working . I hope this message might be helpful, I wanted to upload the pictures of the certificates as well but it is not supported. Please don't hesitate to contact if you need any further information. Thanks you all have a blessed time ahead.
@@andzanisiwelane1047 Nope they are not multiple choice questions. I have the books which one needs to study for SANC exam its more like Nursing Dynamics, rules etc etc.
@@rinsu53 was it difficult? .. sanc process alone how long did it take ?.. send pictures(cover) of the books to nurse zee she will forward them to me i wanna start preparing
@@andzanisiwelane1047 Hi the SANC exam was a bit difficult for me but still I manged to get around 75% , send me your email id or send a test mail to rinsu53@gmail.com . I will share the documents which I have . The sanc process itself took almost a 1.3years
I actually changed my mind about leaving, I found something that can give me what I needed from abroad here in the country. It's just a matter of time🤞🤞
Ohhh wow! We do not pay agencies to work internationally in USA. We can choose a country & they will help us qualify and work at a legitimate hospital that pays the agency to find nurses. Hope that helps.
Hello Nurse ♥️ I hope you’re well The new nursing curriculum has now said studying at a varsity will qualify you as a general nurse and midwife How long will the other two qualifications(psychiatry and community) take to complete to have the 3 bars then?
Hey Jessica! I am also looking to work in SA from USA. I am having trouble finding resources on how to go about doing so... maybe we could collaborate?
I had no idea the process takes so long, I just thought after SAQA was sorted, you’d be able to work. I absolutely agree, you have to do a lot of research before you take on anything cause scams are real.
Ok dear noted Thank you So much God bless......it's tough but God will make a way....if you find or hear any Job even not nursing related kindly inbox me or email me
