recently melted off the back end of a pcieX1 connector on my old e-machines t5026 it has intel gma intigrated graphics and only pci ports agp port has been deleted and only option was to make its solo 1 pciex1 gen 1 stub slot fit a hd4670 just to see it do. and it did lol
i remember staying up late at my buddys house back in the day his well paid navy officer dad had then a sweet rig 66mhz an ati all in wonder with 24bit color windows 95 a then ritzy 17" crt monitor. we used to stay up taking turns playing lhx attack chopper share ware disks wolfenstine doom demo we dialup played c&c tiberium sun demo and doom 2 after school.when c&c red alert hit and we would make maps to make eachother play.. we ate slept drank pc games back then. and we ended off at quake2 map model and testxture fiddling..and found out qoole had an bug that would break all our maps if you didnt make it all in 1 go if you had to save it and re open it things would not line up and make a never ending lighting leak hunt ensue..
