  • The Nash 460 Coupe was part of Nash’s “Advanced Six” line. Prior to 1930, Nash did not produce the larger, 8-cylinder “Advanced 8” line, so this 460 Coupe was among the top-of-the-line models for this iconic American car manufacturer. The 460 Coupe was equipped with a 278 cubic inch 6-cylinder engine with 7 main bearings and twin ignition.
The Advanced 6 was larger than Nash’s 430 or 420 series, sitting on the largest wheelbase-121 inches in the case of the coupe. It also featured several styling differences such as the noticeable “peak” on the bowl-shaped headlights, the double-bar bumpers, single rows of verticle hood louvers, and six full-sized 32-inch tires.
This 1929 Nash 460 Coupe has been completely restored. It features a new leather interior, both inside the main passenger compartment in the rumble seat, and the wood trim is detailed with inlaid German silver.
This 460 Coupe has a rumble seat, dual side mounts with cloth covers, side mount mirrors, Trippe driving lights, and a Lalique crystal “Tete de Coq” rooster head hood ornament with an LED-lit base.
The Goodrich Silvertown tires are all relatively new, with very few miles on them since purchase. We have included photos of the car with the side mount covers and mirrors removed so you can see the tread-wear on the spares as well.
This car would be a solid #1 if it weren’t for some minor flaws in the lacquer paint. There is some minor cracking and scratching that needs to be corrected on the car.
The car is also equipped with directional signals which utilize an added second tail light.
The photos above feature images taken both outside and inside our La Crosse, Wisconsin showroom. The car has been stored in a climate-controlled garage since restoration and is driven only seldom.
A similar 1929 Advanced 6 from White Glove Collection is now part of the Dahl Auto Museum in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Thanks for the kind words. The woodgraining takes a while to learn, but thankfully paint can be redone while you're learning. Dozens of dashboards later, we're getting pretty good!
