Thanks for another great video. Just when I think I won't find another great deal on used parts, this build comes along. Almost ready for Marketplace, total cost $368. ive got an rx 5600xt r5 1600 32gb ram ddr4 128gb nvme 1tb sata ssd 800w 80+ gold and i got it for 400 buck on facebook just bought that 1 tb ssd and it origonally had a 1660 supper and my dad had a spare rx5600xt so i used that
I would have bought the case with the fans but I know you already had the black ones for free, so it saved more money. Definitely a cool and unique video Elijah, I like it!
Nice build at a great end price! I just got into PC building and parts flipping last year as a way to offset costs on my own builds. I recently built myself a 10th gen PC from new and used parts that came in at $443 but that's because I purchased a 10600K brand new smh, if I would've been more patient I could have saved $60 on a used one for a total of $383. Specs as follows - GAMDIAS Talos E2 Elite case, Gigabyte Z490 UD wifi MOBO, Intel I5-10600K, Deep Cool AK400 cooler, Trident 16GB 3600mhz RGB Ram, Corsair HX 650W PSU, Samsung 980 500GB NVME, Seagate 2TB HDD, and EVGA GTX 980Ti graphics card. I started out learning and building on 4th gen Haswell stuff last year and made it up to 10th gen! My grandkids think it's cool I'm learning this new hobby and I'm having a blast. Love the channel, keep up the great work!
I rebuilt a machine similar to this: 9600K 3060, 32gb DDR4 3000, ITX/AC was a pain for me to redo with a larger cooler, honestly it did benchmark FF14 very well 1080P which is more than I expected. I think your machine will bench well 1080P too.
Great video! Although I wouldve tested/benchmarked with a 1080p monitor as I think thats probably the resolution this pc should be running with those specs, but at 1440p it still can game.
In apex legends, the video memory slider is to tell the game how much vram your gpu has, so leaving it at 4gb when the 3060 has 8,gb reducing fps/performance
last august 2023 i built me a 5800x and a rtx 3060 ti for $493 using used parts except for the (new) case and cpu fan I've been loving my build because its got both looks (black and white) and performance. I recently built my 10 year old nephew a pc. I used some used parts and I'm super proud of myself for finding an rx 6650 xt on ebay for $150. $100 off new prices and about $50-$60 off used prices.
i also have a pretty good build for its price : Ryzen 5 7600 RTX 3060 ti 16 GB DDR4 Ram 512gb ssd Asrock b450 motherboard with wifi. I also paid only 376$ for that build and its also because of the used marketplace.
I just built an RTX 2080ti and Ryzen 7 2700 pc for $396. Pretty good price to performance but a slight bottleneck because of the cpu. still pretty happy with it since i sold it for $750 in only a few days
a pc i built for that price is a xeon 2667 v3 and gtx titan x pascal (375) but you can mod the xeon to be turbo unlocked and get comparable performance to a ryzen 3600
I scored a bunch of really good deals on parts when getting them in bundles. I ended up with a build that is $317, with the biggest win being the gpu being only $50 Ryzen 7 5700g Gigabyte Aorus X470 Ultra Gaming 16GB Adata XPG 2666mhz RAM XFX RX 5700xt Silicon Power 512gb M.2 SSD Powerspec 550w PSU Diypc CUBE + Thermalright fans
What do you use for Wi-Fi adapters I mostly build budget computers that I tend to sell for around $300 do you know of any good Wi-Fi adapters that you would recommend for under $30?
Hey Elijah can you make a video or tutorial on how you configure your gaming pcs before you sell them? Preferably making a local account on initial windows startup. Love the content!
hey, i don't know how you always manage to get low 1% lows on fortnite, i am scared to think about the 0.1%, I've managed to get stable fps with pretty low end specs, maybe try optimizing the pcs or something

820 is hella cheap mad w
bottelneck calculator says its a 11% bottelneck on 1080p and no bottelneck on 1440p something to think of
use your brain instead of tools. bottleneck calculations are a baseline not a deciding factor, they aren’t very accurate
