I always enjoy watching your work Aron been following you since the start of your channel, it’s good to see someone taking their time to do a job right.
Thanks for the how-to. I have a Squarebody dash that needs some serious repair and the level of my build I can't justify the cost of a repop or a reupholster job. I'll definitely use the information you've provided to repair my dash.
Checking out some of the older videos, I just learned over the years that it required a lot more patience than I was willing, I used marine tex and jb weld, fiberglass matting, bondo an other stuff that said instant success. I wasn't because I just did not take the time needed. I never cared for the chevy dashes like fords had steel dashboards that could be sanded and just painted right off. Every rig has its good points and others have theirs. It would really be a conglomeration of rigs to use all good from each one onto a single rig
I used construction adhesive to fill the cracks on a dash once. Made the body fill process a lot faster. Course I have no idea how it looks now haha. Great video
Well sorry but just watched this and I'm new since The Truck Gathering and I believe u done a real good and I was thinking bout buying a new dash pad for my 86 Chevy and now I think I can do it myself 👍👍👍
Dam those pain in the ass bugs! I have the same problem…..no bugs in my shop until I decide to paint something then they must crawl out of the wood work! 😡 anyhow! Nice job on the dash young man…..looks great. 👍🇺🇸🙏
I used the jelly once before. Like you said I was younger and after a few hours it peeled right off when I sanded it. Waaay too impatient back then! I bet It works great for a dash. I’ll have to try it next time. I’m usually a beater guy. Never cared what it looked like on the inside until I hit about 30-35 yrs old. Lmfao! Looks good man, awesome job!
@@HarmonGarage I get it, I have done several pins but it seems like I always end up buying a second package because fiasco's like you show in your vid happen when putting the pins in. The only downside is I don't know how new ones would work out on an existing setup as I am using them on a rebuild.
That dash pad looks awesome!
Thank you
That’s just fantastic, your videos always help the folks in their garages and driveways.
Truly outstanding effort on this one!
Thank you sir. Happy 4th to you and Sheryl
Thanks, for the long form of your repair. I’ve had the same experience with crappy figment of the repop dash pads. I’ll be giving this a try.
Thanks for watching

Yea, they are a pain. Thank you.

Thank you sir.
Nice job sir
Thank you sir
Great process and great results! You have mentioned seat foam in this and other videos. Can I ask who's foam and seat covers you prefer?
I get them from lmc, not because I feel they are the best or anything but they are pretty good and they are available
That turned out great!
Thank you
Dang bugs 🐛 i can see that spot all the way from wi. Lol just kidding looks great 👍
Yes sir. They can be a pain
i ended up using perf metal from like a return grille and bondo-ed it in for the speaker grilles. hahaha
That works too. Anything to give it some backing
I prefer the blue hardner. Makes it easier to tell the color consistency
Yes. It’s definitely better in my opinion
Instead of messing with those pins that the bushings always break on anyway just replace the whole hinge. Its worth it
I’ve had good luck with pins. To each there own

great work but what about the 3 speaker holes.. any suggestion on that?
You can put grates over them or mark out a pattern and drill small uniformed holes so it looks factory
I personally would get kick panel speakers and behind the seat speakers and do away with the ones in the dash
Dam man good job looks amazing 🤙
Thank you sir
Oh yeah Sir
Yes sir
nice work. what brand is the rubber floor mat?
Thank you. It’s Auto Custom Carpet Inc.
Nice!
Thanks
😃👍
👍
just buy a new dash pad ffs. You just have to skin the old one off before putting the new a one on. This is just nonsense!
Thanks for your opinion.
